The butterfly 🦋 is considered the symbol of transformation, change and renewal. this is due to the fact that Choji really got a new change in his life as he tried so hard to improve himself when people didn't believe in his ability, the friendships he gained also serve as an example like Shikamaru who is a great his friend. While the bird 🐦 represents freedom, Neji had a grudge and was bitter about his life since his father died, after that everything changed in the worldview he had about each person's fate, he was certainly unhappy and Naruto probably saved Neji to fall into darkness like Sasuke, no one expected but it is in defeat that we learn from the mistake, definitely in this arc Neji was the one who evolved the most and had both human and character development, destiny is us who choose, he is a true genius.
I love the symbolism in this show. The bird that Duke noticed right away I've always seen as a symbolic reference to his fate that he was so invested in at the beginning of the show. When the bird first was shown it was as if his fate was constantly surveying his every move. When he died and the bird flew away it was him finally being relieved of that burden of fate that he so believed in at one point. The feather that fell on his hand being the permanent impact on his life that fate had even beyond death. That's just how i saw it atleast lol. yeah the bird thing is a recurring theme with Neji - i think he at one point compared his mark to a caged bird? I think? I forget exactly, but I know the birds are brought up with him quite often in the original series.

Given my zodiac is soon to start as my birthday is this month I’d say scorpio aka scorpion, but I also think a bloodhound would make sense.
