That's a cool idea. To get the trunk to line up in the new top / back I would cut the new roof across the top and take out about 1/8 of an inch, or whatever you need to get the back of the piece to line up flush, then glue the roof back together - and then add your new roof.. I think that would be a lot easier then messing with the back 👍 If you cut the back of the new roof to make it shorter it will be very obvious I think. Just an idea.🙂
