Juan could easily be the gatekeeper but he old school Detroit. He dont talk dont fuck with nobody, stick to what he does and let everybody do what they do. Juan should take over the lane and dominate but he his own man.
But he not no gatekeeper in Detroit….WHO IN DETROIT HAS HE EVER DID SOMETHING FOR…DOGFACE AINT NEVER DID NOTHKN FOR NO MAJOR ARTIST THAT EVER CAME OUT OUR CITY… nobody ever bought a DOGFACE ALBUM.. U NEVER WAS A WINNER IN DETROIT NEVR!!!!!!
Its just two different opinions and everybody got a right to one just because of who a person is dont make the opinion right or wrong it's their opinion
In "Detroit" that term has been to describe ppl who deny access. With all due respect bro, you are from Pontiac and not Detroit. You moved to Detroit at 15, so you don't have those same "forming" as someone who grew up there. Just like when "you" say Royce Da 5'9 is not a Detroit OG (in rap only)--, true, he did some BS with Tee Grizzley, but you can't take away what he meant to us who grew up there, when only us in Detroit was listening to our music. Thanks for repping Detroit, just like Eminem grew up in Warren, and rep Detroit... there is something imbedded in you when you were raised there as a youth.
Detroit and Pontiac 20 mins away from each other. Most people in Pontiac got family in Detroit and have lived back and forth, the culture is damn near the same but Pontiac is on an extremely smaller scale. If bro was from Grand Rapids or Kalamazoo you’d have a point but your statement is splitting hairs. Nobody really grew up listening to Royce Da 5’9 except a select few fans so don’t drag that false narrative lmfao he had a couple ok songs.
@@rbtheballer Warren is less than three minutes, so what are you saying? To say ppl wasn't listening to Royce shows your lack of knowledge. Every city is it's own city! Pontiac or no other city is Detroit. I said what I said. I spoke truth, you are the one trying to put a cut on it (split it up).
@@GangsterAstrology313 Lmfao clearly you don’t get it. Em wasn’t part of the DETROIT CULTURE; so rather he grew up in Detroit, Warren or anywhere else he moved to a whole different beat and vibe than the CULTURE. Yes, every city has its own vibe but it’s all an off shoot of Detroit. The culture or mentality is more then the geographic location, it’s the FAMILY TIES the people you know, who you grow up around and how you grew up that plays a bigger factor in shaping the mentality of the people in Metro Detroit. Royce was not getting played universally by everybody in Detroit or else he woulda blew up instead of Em. Stop the cap my guy.
@@rbtheballerthat’s not how the music business works works em had backing of Dre and Jimmy that they pushed the button on to sale the great white hope of rap which made white American embrace him
I been out here in the streets all over Detroit for the past over 30years and never heard of or ran into this dude what hood is he from and what crew did he run with because the people he claim he not even old enough to have been around
