Damn, it's been years since the last time I rode at Ocala National Forest. I still remember the first time I ever rode there I ran into two Asian guys in a Toyota Camary and they got the car stuck about 2 miles into the main trail system. It was hilarious and impressive all at the same time.
I moved out to Ocala 2 years ago from Flagstaff Arizona. Have to fix my ds450xmx I would love to check the places out to ride out here. Not a big fan of endless whoops though lol! Great ride
Ocala has it’s spots with whoops but there’s a lot of great trails out there, Croom Atv park is also one recommend to checkout but they have some intense whoops but great place to ride.
I moved up here from south Florida just off 19 by wiregrass and the centennial trail where you riding at ill run you down one day on the yfz 400 or raptor 700
Nice! I used to ride mostly mud or street with my old man but he stopped riding off road but I just got a cr250 to fix up …when it’s done I’m going here first lol😂😂 been about 5 years since I rode off road I’ll have to practice a bit 😂
You can pretty much ride all of the trails as long as you’re not going to any random mud holes, all of it is mostly sand. Never had issues with 2WD in Ocala
Alright so I'm looking to move out there close to the winn Dixie on hwy 40 but opposite side and a little East close to the national Forest boundary, as long as the trail has the "jeep, ATV, and dirt bike" sign, and I'm registered with my ATV and have an annual pass, I can use the trail system to head north to the main OHV trailheads?
I cant tell which area this is but i grew up in chipawa. You have to enter our woods through our neighborhood. I remember it was packed on the weekends and 8 track always had left overs for us teenagers to walk and pick up. Found coolers, 6 packs, etc. 14 with a 6 pack of zima getting lit... Can i go back?
They have day passes for 10$. They ate good fir 3 days. You can get em at any if the trail head parkin lots. Good for all OCALA FOREST TRAILS..wandering Wire Grass, Big Scrub. And the trails at Salt Springs, Hog Valley. Delancy Lopps has a lot off Hwy 19 few miles past salt springs swimming hole on left.
It is closed but you can still drive through there on your side by side or atv. Just no camping. We stayed at KOA campground which is north of the Hog Valley trails.
I’ve ridden there for years without ever being ask for my bikes registration so I would have to say your good without title, Croom Atv park you will need a title. Also be carful in Ocala trails, if you can see your left or right turns drive slow. Two way traffic and SXS’s can ride the same trails.

I went there like a month ago there were parts really challenging to my dirt bike but it was really fun cool video 💪🏾
It’s a great place, thanks 🤘

@@floridatrailrider305 hopefully someday I can be apart of the riding groups and communities around here! Looks like a great place to play
Croom has a great riding community, dirt bike or Atv. Find their group on Facebook.

Also an az transplant. Will be bringing a few toys once I figure out storage.

Also consider Croom Atv park. Another great place to ride.
how much of the forest can you do with a 2wd atv?

@@floridatrailrider305 do you know of any other places in central fl for @WD ATV?
@@Humanperson917 Croom ATV Park, definitely a much better in my opinion

I believe so but double check with the locals on the rules. But as long as your registered and have your annual pass you should be fine.
@@floridatrailrider305 beautiful, thanks man.
Can sxs be driven here? I’m heading to Orlando in December and I have a can am 4 seater , I’m looking for places to ride TIA
SXS can but some trials get tight, also look in hog Waller park, cool place for SXS
Wow 🤩🤩🤩
Was just out there lake delancy camp ground is open they were cracking down on atvs on the main roads and high speeds on the trails
Is this video considered high speeds on the trails
I can consider some parts high speeds, thing is these are 2 ways trails, you need to be really careful when you can’t see around the corners.
Glad they finally opened up the campgrounds

Sounded like fun times for sure. Still some really good riding out there.
@@floridatrailrider305 im no longer in florida. Sc now.
Try Durham town in Georgia if you haven’t yet. Great place to ride.
@@floridatrailrider305 imma look into that one.
Where can I get a pass at ? And where are some places to park and ride ? Looks fun
POA campground is open. Your you can pull up to hog valley trail head to park only.

I thought lake Delaney was closed per their website I wanted to take my son there. Do you have the address to where you exactly went to?
It is closed but you can still drive through there on your side by side or atv. Just no camping. We stayed at KOA campground which is north of the Hog Valley trails.
Which part of the National Forest is it??
Usually stay at lake delancy campground but there a few campgrounds to choose from that all connect to the same trail system
Did you need a title for you atv to ride there?

@@floridatrailrider305 can you send me the address where to go! I’ve only been to hard rock once and that was about 10 years ago so I’m lost
Lake delancy camp ground is my favorite or there’s a few other camp grounds that connects to the trail system.
Where is this exactly ?
That’s was right by the KOA campground. This video started in the hog valley trials. You should be able to find a map online.
Some people like to snort coke.
I prefer floridas sugar sand.
Likewise!
Did you have the address for that parking lot??
Thanks
Where is this?
