These Taiwanese people have not been in and experienced their life at 'War Zone' before, acting like they are brave enough to face in the real situations. God bless you!
Yep. Even when it comes a day the majority of Taiwanese don't mind unification, she would still resist because what she's defending is not the people, she's defending her own attachments. "You can fool all the people some of the time, and some of the people all of the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time. Taiwanese resistance against reunification is ultimately due to the lack of exposure to the truths and the lack of clarity. Time will clear things up.
Peace is a win win solution. Don't fall for the US proxy war trap. War is destructive neither China nor Taiwan will win except US and the Western World.
Interesting propaganda. I am from Taiwan but have not seen this side of it. The ruling party DPP supported the short-lived curfew in Korea. Maybe that's what DPP wants.
23:04 He is correct when he said he is both Taiwanese and Chinese. Look at the Chinese in other countries: In Singapore, one would call himself as Chinese Singaporean. In Malaysia, one would call himself as Chinese Malaysian. In Indonesia, one would call himself as Chinese Indonesian. In the US, one would call himself as Chinese American. What you see is that all of them are Chinese, but with different nationalities. So is this something quite difficult for the young Taiwanese to understand?
I am a US citizen but my DNA and blood are from China. I am proud to have this heritage even though I don't like mainland China government. Carey Chang and many Taiwan born youth regard themselves as Taiwanese only. They don't accept they are Chinese even their passport says Republic of China. This is their rights if you believe in free speech. in reality they are Chinese if they trace their blood line. As mentioned by Carey her paternal grandma is from Zhejiang China. I think by whitewashing your Chinese identity doesn't help Taiwan and mainland political dilemma. If Taiwan youths accept their Chinese identity and heritage they have more motivation to resolve the political difference between Taiwan and mainland peacefully.
@@evatam4393I’m Americans but one must question when people say “they don’t like the Chinese Govt” please expand on that? Are you getting that vibe from the mainstream media? Have you been to China enough to make that distinction. The mainstream media has been hyping up the China threat and at times down right manufacturing anti-China news. I know that a lot of people has been conditioned to feel the same. It’s quite sad but I get it. Inside every Asian man there is an American yearning to be free. Being Chinese American, I see who the white man is on a pedestal in Asia, heck even in amongst Asian-Americans. You don’t have to be proud to be ethnic Chinese but to be ashamed of it is truly sad.
@@evatam4393 You're right. And when someone said "I am Taiwanese, not Chinese" - If what he meant was his nationality, then he was still correct. - But if what he meant was his race, then he was not only racist but also an idiot. Since when someone was able to change his own race?
The USA China and the EU are all now rapidly developing domestic high end chip plants. Once the USA completes this it's in their best interest to see the competition gone. I'd either try to leave or not speak out to loudly against probably your future government. Look to Hong Kong If you want to see the future of Taiwan.

Mongolia has been part of China longer than Taiwan. Europeans have settled for longer in the Americas than Han Chinese in Taiwan…..
May peace prevail for both sides of the Taiwan Straits.

Very well made.

Back to motherland is not a question anymore but a imminent future reality
why would CCP risk party rule invading Taiwan?? they need to concentrate on the economy

I would elaborate on this by saying that when your country is called "Republic of China" how the heck are you not Chinese by nationality?

This girl likes to play politics with other people's lives. Look what Zelensky did to his country, Ukraine. Taiwan is following the same path.
Borderline megalomaniac narcissist. So cringe watching her
Have not learnt even from the Ukraine war.
Whole generation of men wiped out, and now they are lowering the conscription age to 18 years old.
