Hi there, fair play mate you tried everything you could and it wasn't having none of it, these fish would have been near your baits 100 percent especially after a week of fishing. That was hard going, my hat goes off to you. With any fishery watching and gaining as much info on the place is essential, this video is good knowledge and highly valuable to others. Keep up the good work.
I fished this venue twice and had a fish on both occasions 1st session was a 26.4 common and second visit was a 39lb common called della but both were had on cc moore live system 15mm glugged in sweetcorn smoke goo
Peg 13 ! Where the spring water comes into the lake on your left hand side there is hard patch about 9/10 feet infront off it .. on the left had side where the channel is from peg 1 !! Bag in the middle off that channel.. the reeds to the left work ! But you need to put your rig touching the reeds .. honestly have not had anything from the right hand off the swim !! I think due to the two channels between swim 1 and 12 it gets 2 pressured.. all the best there for your session in April .. and please go to the swims that are not being fished go and beat the sh#t out those swims with your deeper pro !! Not only you have the features of the lake but you scare the fish down your way ..
Peg 1 .... on right hand side tight to the reeds on the right ! On right hand side in the middle off channel which goes in-between peg 1 and 13 ! On your left hand side off swim there is a margin channel going to peg 2 ! But the same again put your bait in the middle off channel!! Lock your rod up with this spot it's known for the big boys to show up .. as you know the carp do not give up where they are easily! We had step ladders in our vans due to our work , set them up and sat and watched with Polaroid glasses ... honestly it was shocking to see how many fish were going through our swim from channel to channel about 2/3ft below the surface but without Polaroid glasses and the height from step ladder ,we would never have seen them ... what bait would I use !!! Dead and live maggots and as a hook bait as you can't use plastic grubs anymore! A 8mm Cork ball ( dark in colour ) to match the red maggots! This may help or not ... short hook lengths!! 4/5inches ..
Nearly at 2k subs mate great video it looks a mega place but it can defo be a tough nut to crack u were unlucky mate in fairness i think u were in a peg that aint the best i would certainly like to fish there the huts etc are spot on cheers bud tightlines
Good edit bro. Keep up the good work!! Unlucky on the fishing mate, happens to the best of us. If we new you guys were next door earlier coupd of got some chunks on camera 👌
Really nice fishery and nice vid. Gutted for you that you blanked after fishing it for a week but that's how it can be on these tough places with big Carp in. Is this maze lake that you fished? I just checked their prices on their website and I'm wondering why Maze pool is so much more expensive than the other two.
It’s supposed to soak into the boilie with the water still giving them a washed out look and less strong smell but still with the food signals. However I’ve never done this myself
Those Pavyott mirrors are god damn ugly rotters. You're kind of lucky you blanked your arse off. 😂 Personally i would have rather fished at Silver End, far better looking fish.
Good video mate. Looks a lovely lake down there. Look forward to the next one mate.
Cheers mate much appreciated

Cheers for the info mate a great help
@@JediCarper 1 thing I did try to be different to everyone else was using raw prawn instead off boilies! There are big eels in that lake !
Don't want 1 of them then
Fished there 8 years ago not been back since so expensive for what little water you get.
Yeah I defo wouldn't do it on me own...too much money

It's because it has bigger fish in it mate
Thanks for spoiling it for the rest of us just watching
There is fish in the vid mate so don't worry
So you washed your baits out and then put glug in with the baits you'd just washed out?
It’s supposed to soak into the boilie with the water still giving them a washed out look and less strong smell but still with the food signals. However I’ve never done this myself
Exactly that mate
Also stops them taking other smells into them like silt
@@joshyxz lol I suppose it looks good on paper if nothing else 😂
@@antonywagon4564 Works for a lot of anglers mate just what you feel most confident in that’s what fishing is al about
Jed how much was that for the week? Looks a nice quiet water & unlucky on your blank
Hi mate was just over £500 for the week, but split between 2
Cheap as chips Jed, will look into booking a week for next year 👍
Defo got some chunks in there mate
Try papgooi
Whats all this scanning fish business 🤔
So they can keep tags on the weights and names of fish....and also for security reasons
@@JediCarper ok then ,cheers for the info
