Louder than bombs, for me, can also be interpreted as "louder than the cheers" cause when you look at BTS concerts, it's always, always full. and all you see in the audience are the ARMY Bombs. and they tell us through this song that they understand, that however loud our cheers are, there's always louder struggles behind it and that they'll always be there and sing for us, sing for those unheard voices.. I think them communicating with us through Weverse helps them realize that
That is actually one of the most unique descriptions I've heard for this song, I think for me it was always a show of strength that they/we are more than their struggles
This was SUPPOSED to be their last album and big world tour in 2020 before their military break. Then cov!d hit, they did 3 English songs, the BE album and the Permission to Dance concerts and 2 Grammy performances before announcing their break during the Festa 2022 dinner. After living through Festa 2022, I realized that the theme of so many songs in this album is the same- that they have shadows and doubts about their ability to keep creating, their place in the world, they have experienced darkness, but still, “we’ll shine” , “No matter what kind of waves strike, we will endlessly sing towards you”. Like they said at Festa ‘22, they need a break but we must trust what THEY say, that they are together forever. APO BANGPO!! (ARMY forever, Bangtan forever)💜
Sadly enough I am sure they do need a break, they are sadly human and I am sure they are more worn out than they let on, I personally love this song though
A most beloved song of all ARMYs...theres no mv and has never been sung live. RM said its a bit hard to do...but some conjecture is that it's too personal to the boys. Others, the production is difficult. They're so good at concerts,I think it would be superb! See you on the flip side😊💜🫡
The "rolling in a dung field" is part of a Korean expression which basically says that "even if you roll around in a field of sh*t, this world is still better than the otherworld (afterlife?)", although I've also seen it translated to "dragged through the filth/sh*t". Louder than bombs is one of my personal favourites, it's just so hauntingly beautiful.
This song is the flip side of "2, 3". That song was for Army when they were feeling down because of all the names they were calling BTS. In the mist of plagerism, sajaegi (buy albums back) and other claims of cheating, they wanted to cheer up ARMY so they wrote 2,3 they said when I count 1,2,3 it will erase all the sad memories, just hold my hand and smile, still I hope that their will be good days, if you believe me 1,2,3 then the crowd says 1,2,3." This song though is many years later and they now no long hope for better days but pray for later days because they can see that the smiles ARMY wears when they cheer for BTS are not always happy smiles. So now they promise that no matter what wave hits they will sing Louder that Bombs to help ARMY.

Thanks for your reaction ... One of my top favorite song of BTS, love it. Based on the introduction of what RM has shared to us in a past broadcast of him, the song tells a story of how sadness and fear grow as a person encounters pain/struggles in life. He particularly shared about relating to ARMYs letters, comments and posts in social media who expressed themselves when feeling down and seeking comfort and being grateful to BTS as they became a huge role to motivate strength, acceptance and love. He imagined that during concert tours, fans share the fun with them but he realized that beyond those faces are fragile lives who have different stories to tell and fans count on their songs and presence. As for BTS, who encourages everyone to ''speak yourself/ourselves" (from their voices of reasons in many ways) the message or rather, main inspiration of the song is that, they are going to continue to listen to our stories and will never stop singing for us, while we speak ourselves. Personally, it transmits to me the power of resilience, how you can break when everything gets difficult and uphill but you can be stronger than that, as they say: what doesn't kill you makes you stronger... and in the end, your voice and your spirit must be stronger than that. It is a reminder that we are not alone, that there is someone who feels and understands our pain, that it is for this very reason that we must continue forward with determination, having the support of others... It is a recognition from BTS to their fans for giving them strength with his love in the face of bad times and vice versa Regards from México 💜
wow! honestly you can kinda tell, and I am kinda the same way, when I feel sad or down for some reason I find stuff like this very motivated and it always gets me through, theres a kinship with people who also struggle
Oh, ARMY can relate to the “new favorite” situation. My “BTS favorites” playlists are currently 68 songs long for BTS-album songs and 45 songs for their solos, mixtapes and collaborations. Both keep growing as I explore. 🤷🏻♀️
That was absolutely gorgeous. Up until now I have been enjoying the music a lot, I have been impressed a lot and I was definitely moved by the backstory of Spring Day, but despite that, I hadn't heard a song that wowed me yet. the boys said , i forgot which episode of Run BTS where the ARMY all over would vote which song they want to hear live,,,its hard to do the song live coz it would take a lot of work esp for the band
I found this song very comforting even before reading the lyrics. Almost hypnotic. The “ah ah ah” just transports me. I can picture what the siren myths were talking about 😂 I don’t know if the lyrics have anything at all to do with that or were inspired by it since they mention “the cheers”, but the lightsticks you see at all BTS live performances are called ARMY Bombs.
Hey Aaron. As I previously mentioned, I love Louder Than Bombs. It's so unique sounding and you are right ethereal and gives goosebumps. I think its the best song to listen to with headphones. I love how the chorus lyrics change through the song from 'Louder than bombs I break' to 'Louder than bombs I say' to Louder than bombs I sing' in the last chorus.
Hi Aaron, I'm just meeting you today & binge watching your BTS reactions. Thank you for being so open & respectful to the boys, their lyrics, music, & performance abilities. Can I still call them boys? I'm 54 years old tomorrow, so I feel like their mom, kinda. I've written a very long comment before about how much this song means to me & I don't want to keep pasting it into other comment sections, as if my words are so important that they need to be repeated to everyone, lol. So starting from scratch today... what stands out additionally to me today, because of Suga's verse, is the difference in how people respond to the pain of others. Some people minimize & ridicule the pain of others, because they cannot see how it could possibly compare to what they themselves have been through. Unfortunately the world is full of people who respond to hurt & anger, with more hurt & anger, which is not productive & often leads to abuse. Thankfully, some people who have experienced much pain themselves, respond to others with empathy, no matter how different the circumstances of the other persons' life experience & pain is. This to me, exemplifies BTS intentions. They always put themselves out there, struggles & all, which opens them up to more criticism from some, but also allows the bond between ARMIES & BTS to form & strengthen. Wherever they are in the world, they stand in the gap, taking the bullets, & keep singing louder than bombs. 💜
I absolutely love your comment, I think you can still call em boys, as a man I appreciate being called boy now that I'm older LOL. never feel bad for leaving longer comments, I appreciate the passion! a lot of people definintely endure pain alone
With BTS songs, some songs might not be your type or style but they are all well written and good songs. I find just about all new reactors keep saying "oh this is my favorite song" everytime they hear another song. You will be even more surprised when you watch their live performances like MMA 2028, 2019 and the Grammys 2022.

@@Killdeer25Aaron I agree you will love those songs too as you will many others, but I wanted you to get to know the group and their music and who the members are first before starting on any solo music (these 3 songs recommended above are solo work independant of the group). You are only just getting started and there is a lot of BTS music to hear including solo songs by members as songs of BTS and part of BTS's discography. Also Cypher 3 is mentioned here. As your not a huge rap fan (at least prior to BTS 😉) I wanted to ease you into the rap before the cyphers. There are also 4 cyphers and I think its important you hear them in order so you know the story and also watch their hardships video first for context. A note also that the cyphers have lot of word play and meaning to understand and its important to use good lyric videos (with accurate translation) for these before watching a live performance. I included a link to a live performance of Outro Tear which I think your going to love. Anyway just wanted to give context and share my reccommendation regarding this. 💜
Hey Aaron 👋 congrats on reaching 2k subscribers! I love Louder Than Bombs. And dont worry i know what you mean about picking favourite songs, with BTS its impossible. 😆 louder than bombs is one of my many favourites 😉. Its late here so im just leaving this message quickly. Will come back and rewatch with a further message. I do want to request though that you please dont us the channel Jaeguchi for lyric videos. 🙏 There are many reasons why, but a quick explanation i will give you now is that their lyrics are atrocious, both for the english translation and the Hangul (Korean). This is because they dont care about lyrics. They setup and release their videos so as to steal copyright money from artists and their companies. They churn out videos like nothing for every kpop group under the sun as soon as songs are released to get views and money. There are better channels to support. There are youtubers who have done videos exposing the practices of large lyric video channels like Jaeguchi (can share links to these later) - though sadly many people dont know and or watch them anyway. I always suggest using group specific lyric channels if possible as they are run by true fans and focus on accurate lyrics instead of money or views. I mean "rolling in a dungfield" is not a good translation 🤦♀️as you will see from doolset and there were other errors too. For lyric videos like this for BTS where it shows each member singing the channel af taehyung is a much better option - i linked videos from their channel in my list. Another good channel which is an ARMY run BTS only lyric channel is called Dial 6137. It does not show which member is singing, however they have great graphics and easy to read along lyrics. Thanks 👍
@@Killdeer25No Problem at all. Yeah I have no doubt you wouldnt have known. But yes there are 3 lyric video channels Jaeguchi, Zaty Farhani and Lemoring in particular that are all the same. Unfortunately they have the most views so are the first results on a search, but they have bad translation or wrong lyrics to begin with and they often get whose singing completely wrong. Really theres no point watching an incorrect lyric video. In addition to the incorrect lyrics though there are videos on youtube from a couple of years ago exposing methods those channels were using to steal copyright money from the artists and music companies. Using methods to take 100% of copyright profits in the case of Jaeguchi or up to 50% in the case of those other channels. On top of that some of the channels have PayPal, patreon or other ways to get donations from viewers so they are double dipping. A RUclips channel called ZaerApollo uncovered what the channels were doing/are potentially still doing. It's pretty mindblowing. ZaerApollo made 5 videos about it. Some of their videos are quite long but below is a link to an 11 minute summary video they created. ZaerApollo actually had contact with 'Jaeguchi' who tried to say they werent stealing any copyright and the second video below is a 10 minute video that explains their response and why they were lying. Basically they are not fan channels like many people would assume. I would say they are scammers and thief's. I think it might be time for you to watch Burn the stage Movie. you could do a marathon weekend or something? or maybe you already are? Do you have a patreon? and if so, are there plenty of BTS reactions on it?

A note also that the cyphers have lot of word play and meaning to understand and its important to use good lyric videos (with accurate translation) for these before watching a live performance. I included a link to a live performance of Outro Tear which I think your going to love.
Anyway just wanted to give context and share my reccommendation regarding this. 💜
BTS magical ✨️ 💜 ➕️ Grateful for constant 🫰 shown to U channel community.
You have been awesome! Thank you!
Well I’ll say it. This is one of my favorites
yeah! I think I might join you on that one!
ありがとう。
I love lyrics of this song.
Thank you! I do too
Hey Aaron 👋 congrats on reaching 2k subscribers!
Thanks 👍
thank you so much! I owe all of you so much! ohhh I had no idea! I will watch out for that next time!

Yesss! That will wb coming out in a little bit later today 😁
Whenever you're watching a lyrics video, turn off the "CC". The video already includes the English subtitles, and sometimes the CC lyrics get in the way. 💜💜💜

Ok, I don’t know what happened to my comment so I’m reposting-but I really want you to see it 😂.
Since you like metal music check out BTS live performance with Seo Taiji, especially the song Classroom Idea.
oh yeah that one was cool AF. RM´s voice in particular goes very well with distorted guitars
Yeaaah, youtube has still been deleting my comments and when I ask they say they're looking into it
One of my all-time faves. Hope some day we hear it live! So good! There is a fan made version that was done really well, since you enjoy the song and will probably listen again, you might want to check it out. ruclips.net/video/TfvShMWGbwI/видео.htmlsi=g7MKMDGYcYIQPPQr💜 As for each song being your new favorite... welcome to the fandom. But this one really does stay up there for many of us. :)
I think it might be time for you to watch Burn the stage Movie. you could do a marathon weekend or something? or maybe you already are? Do you have a patreon? and if so, are there plenty of BTS reactions on it?
I have been asked for a patreon, I actually dont have one. I havent really planned on it very much, if I did I would make it as cheap as possible so everyone would be able to afford it, I dont think I have heard of Burn the stage movie either. I guess I am still really new into this lol!
@@Killdeer25 I think they have Burn the stage, Bring the soul and one more and documentaries for each movie as well.
Burn the stage is the first one, and I think is their Red bullet tour.
Please react BTS Butterfly live stage ❤❤❤
Ok!
