I've always loved the podcasts that have pros and coaches having conversations with other pros and coaches(been listening to "the apex" pod since episode 1), I didn't know about this one but you'll be sure i wont be missing these every week! Great guests would love to see any of these guys on regularly!!!
There NEEDS to be a roster lock. I don't cheer for Orgs. I follow individual players, because of how often people swap around. I refuse to buy Org merch for this reason
Not judging ppl on their results is a crazy statement tho. I know there's a lot of stuff behind the scenes but orgs literally drop their team if they are doing shit consistently. I know there's some anomalies but still. Plus you guys do it yourselves. You predict who's doing good in champs based on recent scrims. So it isn't fair to call ppl dumb if they are basing it off of scrims/lower tourneys like blgs.
It is exactly how you wrote in your comment. Teams doing good or bad consistently but not Jumping on conclusions becase of only 1 result without understanding the reality and the performance of the team. And looking at BLGS means you need to look at all times from scrims to BLGS all rounds until the end. But people jump to conclusion only based on 1 result that is finals. Scrims is really good way to look at stuff because it goes not for 1 block but rather maybe 30 (over a month daily) and it gives good idication on how good or bad teams are doing
I don’t think people hating on Falcons is because their dumb and think they’re bad. If anything it’s the opposite. Both with Gen or Waltzy that’s a top 5 team at every tournament no matter what. Anything else isn’t good enough. Also Privacy you do have an extreme bias that can go too far. When Falcons is down you tell guests not speak on it. Then when they’re up you’re yelling that fans are dumb (you’re not necessarily wrong but still).
I tell guests not to talk about it on the podcast directly in front of everyone watching (I talk about it myself). I usually do that as a joke. But surely have no problem if anyone wants to talk about it. If I would be biased, I would have not even mention that. The yell was on the fact that many people are result based which is wrong approach.
