- Hello everyone, sorry this is late going out, I completely lost track of time today. Just another quick video of a cross country schooling session, this time on the lovely Winnie. If you watched her eventing vlog you'll have seen we had a few issues with the water, so this outing was trying to overcome those demons!

I really do just appreciate how you teach babies Meg❤ it’s inspiring to see you conquer the small bumps in the journey of your horses!
The little lead change in the water is adorable 18:26
Have you seen, how naturally she does a flying change (e.g. the canter through 2nd water) as soon as you decide to change direction (seat, looking direction)? My gosh she is amazing!!! 🎉❤
Fantastic Winnie Woo!!!!
What a clever smart baby. Uncle Simon did a great job with her. I'm in love with his methods. You could tell he really enjoyed her. What a gift.
It' obvious you're learning so much from him. Little tweaks here and there. They can make such a difference with these toddlers. No pressure even though the water!!
Great session Meg!! 🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎❤️
I love Winnie. She seems sensible, but opinionated with it, which are the 2 best things about mares. 🙂 YAY on the water!
Agree 100% with your assessment of mares! 😂 Have a few of my own. I adore them, but they can certainly be opinionated and not the least bit hesitant to share their opinions!
I love how I can see Winnie's ears pricked forward the entire time as if to say "Where to next, Mum?" 😄 She loves jumping, that's for sure. Thank you for taking us along with your training sessions, Meg! I absolutely love these kind of videos.
Some of us have followed you from the beginning Meg!
Good job Winnie.
I’ve followed her from the beginning
Winnie is coming along nicely! I appreciate the kindness you treat all your horses with! ❤
One of our tricks for getting them to drink away from home is sprinkling rice bran on top of the water, it's a bit sweet and they really seem to love it.
I love the way you train by building her up step by step. So positive. And shout out to Simon for his help. She’s a talented happy pony.
Water is a question of trust, although she did well last week. Many people have to lead their horse in the water or following another horse very easy and slow, so i think she does great. She's not afraid.😊😊
Been a long time follower. This Meg? Not the horse loving girl who decided to vlog her life. Love her but this really shows the growth of you as a horse woman. This is a very confident horse Trainer. You laugh at the silly but state the truth. When I compare this rider to “baby Meg” I’m a little flabbergasted! Love it!
Definitely see a lot of Jam in Winnie... I think she could turn out to be a really special little horse. She's got a bit of a spark in her but I think that will serve her well out XC!
Winnie is looking so good and it reminds me of my first XC “steed” who came from the track and became my favorite eventing horse. Although a gelding and a bit older than Winnie, he had the same pleasant, kind temperament and desire to please. You are doing such an awesome job of brining her along in a way that keeps her confidence high and her brain engaged in a positive and healthy way. Love following you and how great a job that you are doing. 🙂🇺🇸🐈
Your training is so gradual and seamless, perfect for building long-term success *and physical health!* I love Winnie's canter stride, by the way...have since I saw her first running loose with the others. So fluid.
I love how she grunts when she jumps 😂
Absolutely love these training videos! As someone who is just starting out riding, its amazing to0 see how you train and get on with things!!
I'm all for more simple short training/polework videos with the youngsters!
Good on you Meggy!
Nice to see not everyone beats horses to go into the water like Mark Todd! Go Meggy! ❤️
Winnie is so adorable ❤
She will get it soon enough, that water!! You left it the good spot for her thouthought process. Well done.
Aww Winniieeee
She's so cute and looking gorgeous! Love the little grey spots she's getting 🥰
What a good pony! She does remind me a bit of Jam as you watch her work, but they are still so different. Well done Meg and well done Winnie!
Omg ❤Winnie is coming along a treat ❤
Amazing to think what you añd she did around Barbury yesterday just a few days after you did this. What a sweetheart 😊
Lovely vlog Meg ,Winnie is adorable tfs.🤗🏇🤗
Great job with Winnie! She is so beautiful and smart. Enjoy and thanks for sharing💕
Winnie did a great job with all those jumps and the water! 😊
Aweeee she’s sooo adorable I love her sm and ur such an inspiration to me ❤
Winnie is looking absolutely amazing! She has passed her gawky adolescent phase and turned into a beautiful horse. She certainly has a ton of natural jumping talent (how could she NOT, with Jam’s genes!), and you’ve done a great job producing her. I love that you don’t over face or get impatient when training your youngsters. SO many “professional” trainers care more about the money they will make off a sale that they rush the young horses’ training and force them to do things they are uncertain of by using force and fear. It’s SO lovely to see you being so patient and taking the time to produce your horses and ponies the right way. I can see Winnie being your next Badminton Grassroots star in the future! 🤩 Keep up the good work😊
She is so sweet, and coming along nicely.
It’s lovely to see you go out and about just you and the ponies ( and Camera Pete obviously)
I love watching you work with babies Meg - you’re so good with them! Winnie looked like she loved it and learnt a lot throughout the lesson! I’d love to have the opportunity to work with young horses one day like this, just feel so rewarding ❤
Aww the prettiest baby pony 🥰
It's lovely to see you out, just enjoying the process, having a momentary breather from the pressures of qualifying and more challenging comps. Winnie looks like she's going to match Jam plus some!
Seeing whinnies progress over the past few months is so amazing ❤ you've really been doing such an amazing job with her Meggy ✨️
Oh bless her Winnie is a real tryer isnt she. You are great with her too
We use watered down beet pulp year round. Our horses were notorious for not drinking on long trips, we put alfalfa cubes in a bucket of water so they had to drink some to get to the wet cubes.
Whinney did awesome! She is such a sensible youngster.
What a good girl! ❤❤❤
Winnie is amazing ❤❤❤
Shes a little tank of a pony! Bold as brass. Your future badders winner 🏆
She has the confidence if you reassure her with your leg, she is so willing to try for you, I think she is going to be mega 🎉 xx
Loving the confidence in both of you xx
Such a beautiful way of introducing her to new experiences, loved this Meg, thanks ❤
You and your horses are such a joy to watch. Thanks for your vlogs
Winnie's really really beautiful!
Wow that's such a nice training venyou ,I'd remember you GOING there be for .I love the WAY YOU persevere. Take care and all the best. ❤❤
She does love her feet in the air doesn’t she. 😂
I agree, she doesn’t look fit but hey - what a time you have had huh.
She is very interesting to watch as in when she is worried she starts to run in front, quite tricky to ride I imagine.
But great work and she looks so promising doesn’t she. Best of luck.
I will sometimes put little bits of carrots in the water😁. Have watched your videos for years, love how you bring your ponies along!!!!
I’m really enjoying watching how you get the babies going!
Good morning Meg and Winnie😊
You guys did so well! She's really growing into her job even tho she has to do some baby stuff for our entertainment 😂
Watching this after the Barbery vlog. It's going to be interesting to see how Winnie gained the confidence to do Barbery so well.
She’s so, so pretty. Is she Jammie’s baby? I can totally see Jam in her! ❤
Yes she is ❤
She's doing so well. If you toss a small pebble in still water, it makes a few ripples which makes water easier for horses to see. Having sneeked a look at the Barbury results, this training session payed off. ❤
god she’s gunna make the most amazing little eventer
She's looking good Meg!
Winnie has plenty of physical ability. If she inherited Jam's heart, she could take you far indeed...
She certainly seems to be going in the right direction 🤞🏼🤞🏼
She’s going to be so cool ! Looking forward to seeing the 2 young bays out and about more , well technically maybe Winnie won’t be bay forever but ya get me
Been watching a long time before bear went to badders! Loved watching you all progress and learn together 💜
I’m really enjoying these training videos…..makes us feel really part of the journey ❤️
Was it Pete that was videoing?. Xx
Loved this-Winnie doing so well-Would love to see some horse fitness training videos as well and more training to strengthen her canter over jumps. Do you think you will keep Winnie at 70 for a few more events or move her up to 80 ?
Great video Meg. Great training.
I love it there ! I competed the eventers challenge yesterday 😬🙌
Did anyone else she how she did a flying lead change in the water that was really cool
Lovely work 🎉❤
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤Love it
You could give flavoured water a go ie apple juice orange yanno what ever they like I do that with mind if I'm not happy with the amount she's drinking
Aww Winnie!!!!
The pure refuel bag looks like a bag I get my prescriptions in from Tesco
Hahah this was their special sample bag, I’ve just kept it as is useful for shows 😂
Hey meg! I love your videos and i watch them all the time!!! ❤❤❤

How tall is winnie now? She's looking great. Can't wait to see her and jammy competing together in the future.
Hey Meg, love love you. I always watch ur vids. Also love that bridle you use on Whinnie. Can I please find out the name of it? Thanks for keeping us all motivated!!!
Winnie❤
How old is Winnie now? She's beautiful ❤
So excited!!!! :))))))))
Lovely job today. Could you please tell me the brand and type of Winnie’s bridle. Thanks
I've never seen a pony this scopey! She will go far 😊
Does anyone know where this xc is? It just looks really nice for youngsters ❤
Those first 2 logs😂
Actually she's coming along quite well considering how inexperienced Winnie is. She seemed to be having fun. How is Dee by the way? She should have foaled by now.
WHO ELSE LOVES WINNIE ❤❤❤❤❤ Meg you should totally breed her to Marley she has so much scope with his scope woaahhhhh 🤯🤯🤯
❤
