Yes you can mess with the 12/1, I have ran 11/1 for a while and my veg is awesome! As for 8hour for flower, how can that not work? ahahhahha 8hours for flower makes fat frost colas so, I have no idea if its strain related as I do work with older genetics but still, but still in what way didn't not work. Im very curious! Currently Im flowering on 9hours seeing if there is any difference with 8 and side by side Im seeing equal growth. ahhahahahh

This guy didn't live through reefer madness, that was 1930's propaganda. He watched it when it popped back up in the 1980's as satire. He's at least 30 years too young to have seen that movie shown as propaganda.
@hiroyopoetker I'm 64 and I'd say he is about the same age. "Reefer Madness" was a propaganda movie that incited hysteria regarding cannabis and hemp. That hysteria brought in prohibition. In the 1930's. Prohibition has continued to the present day but the reefer madness phenomena was over a decade before the first boomer was born. The propaganda movie was re-released in the 80's as a comedy. The hysteria wasn't re-released so none of us in our 60's lived during reefer madness, though we are all still living through various levels of prohibition.

They may have rerun the movie in the'50s or '60s but "living through reefer madness" refers to the hysteria in the '30s when that prppaganda was produced. And like I said in my original comment, this clown wasn't there in the '30s so couldn't have lived through reefer madness, he just watched the movie.
Joe talks like a quack but his 12/1 is hands down great. 12/1 for veg and then in flower take down to 8hours, fat chunky buds that get very frosty! Those who try know and never go back!

@@hiroyopoetker the growth with 12:2 is comparable to 18:6 but with just 8h of light thru flower my yield suffered. Quality was okay
