I've seen several players put hammer in B or C tier, yet it plays to Kruber's niche perfectly. You're meant to draw agro and crowd control, and the hammer is the perfect tool for that with it's sweeping power attacks.
I main hammer on FK and i find B tier pretty ok. Its def too slow and not enough "reactive" to get A or S tier . I mean when you compare to force hammer in darktide ( which have pretty similar role + animations ) its day and night because the damage are actualy worth the lack of speed
@leo doe I kinda disagree. The swings are very predictable with regular attacks all being overheads that let you cave in skulls on single targets left and right, very good for specials and elites as well. Then the power attacks sweep horizontal and can cleave through a ton of mobs, knocking everything down and giving your teammates room to get their damage in. I'll grant that's it's slow but that can be mitigated with gear and talents, and while swing speed doesn't have a cap it does have diminishing returns the crazier it gets.
Your stat numbers aren't going to look great on FK unless you're doing a crazy sword and mace build, but frankly, the average team has enough damage dealers. What helps immensely is someone to draw aggro, keep enemies staggered or on the ground, and someone who just does not die and is there to rez other players when they overplay their hand. To that effect, besides mace and shield which has less predictable swing patterns, I don't see any of the other weapons filling the role as well as hammer.
@@uncledoctor6920 Again i dont say Hammer is bad, i love it, plus it have bery good elite clear. But to me its not even close to top tier weapons like MnS, SnD, or rapier. Because it have actualy flawsand those flaws gets you in trouble sometimes. Especialy the lack of dodge/space managing. Dont get me wrong, the heavies spam is decent but do 0 dmg and for not so good cleave again mixed to compensate.
It's C on Cata and beyond cata on modded oh boy. Legend is a joke if you can play this game everything viable there.
leaves you way more vulnerable than a shield weapon. A lot of hits he took in this vid could have been avoided with a shield. Not saying the hammer is bad or that it shouldn't be used, it's actually a lot of fun! However, if you are looking for overall performance and don't want to put hours into learning the timing of an actually fairly difficult weapon, best stick with mace/sword and shield.
Many players very rarely mark special enemies and I don't understand why. With a tag, you can easily spot a green-brown enemy among the green-brown swamp. The same poison smoke might not be bypassed, but tagged through it and shot.

It's always been a hard choice between the executioner sword and the hammer for me personally. I think chaining the heavy attacks on the hammer is easy horde clear but I can be so brainless with the executioner sword.
Props to you sir for demonstrating what a "too slow" weapon can accomplish in the right hands.
Both Bardin’s and Kruber’s greathammers are some of the most fun weapons in the game, they just require a little more careful timing with your attacks to get value.
FK with hammer clears house on trail of treachery with all those shielded storm vermin. Very optimal.

I want to innovate on the build a bit and FK carrer skill can help you deal with emergency situations but also depending on your skill, whether you use it properly or not. 5 % Crit Chance is good but
depending on your choice , you can change 10% cooldown reduction if you want ^^. Anyway , tks for cmt :D

Was this using TB or official balance? And was this before or after they buffed greathammer in TB?
Either way well done. I really like using GHam FK in modded on multiple balance mods.

Grail knight with the power boosts makes this thing ridiculous
Used this when i first started playing as iron breaker. Do not like it anymore. The tourney balancing mod makes it usuable. It swings twice as fast with the heavies.

I mean this is kruber weapons used by very few people
The rate that I see players using this weapon in matches is only about 20%

Their Field of View is really high, hence why it looks like it's got a longer reach
