I will never get why they had to make the Mi-24D a premium. Not only it was the first version of the Hind with the iconic tandem cockpit, it also was by far the most produced variant of the 70s, until the V and P started seeing full production. I hope we get a D for the main tree some day
4 good AGMs, huge load of unguided rockets, ballistic calculator, a gun mounted in the nose, IRCM and Flares all combined at the same time at BR 8.7 in a heli with decent flight performance The choppers that get the closest to this performance in this BR are probably UH-1C and UH-1D which are nowhere near as competitive as the Hind
I agree in regards to the UH-1D, but the UH-1C gets 6 I-tows (it also can equip a nose turret), and those atgm's are better than falanga because of the missile speed. Flares don't mean much at 8.7 frankly. If a plane is going to kill you, it'll do it with guns since the missiles at this br aren't all-aspect. IRCM is semi useful. All in all, the UH-1C is definitely competitive with the hind.

This Heli is simple to use nothing too fancy and it can kick the crap out of the enemy and take a beating. Think I have seen some of these bad boys still being used IRL. I totally missed out on grabbing the Mig-15bis-ish i totally regret it so much these days.

Not really - It's equivalent to a Hind A with the difference being that you get an armoured cockpit and a rotary machine gun, both things that really don't influence it's capability much. If you want to look at P2W examples, look Su-11
Bro I play with full upgraded hind A, and whenever I try to sneak up on the enemy, gepard or ozelot just blasts me with ease. Do you have any tips, because I watch you and I can't believe that 0 people shoots at you
They shoot me my friend, and I get shot down too but I play safe in general and stay on edge of map .. also both A & D are 8.7 now so personally I don't see Ozelot much and for the Gepard type SPAA I try to use Falanga missile at max range which is 4km and maneuver to avoid the incoming tracers while guiding the missile in the same time, don't forget Hind D has RWR, IRCM and countermeasures as well so it is a much prepared bird than Mi-24A, RWR saved a lot from incoming Gepard bursts.
For RB, Mi-24D is on 8.7. It's a premium vehicle which you can't buy now. It's sad, but It's the only good looking Hind in 8.7, and It's perfect for nice line up of T-62M-1, T-55AMD-1 and T-55AM-1.
