I'm confused, can anyone tell me: 1. Why did she say to be so careful to keep the non-stick dressing bandage and 4x4 gauze sponge sterile, but she touches the wound area with her fingers before applying it (1:04)? 2. Why did she say to keep the sheet cotton sterile (limit touching it), but not the roll cotton gauze under it--why does it matter for the sheet and not the roll cotton? 3. Why didn't she use wound ointment/powder before wrapping it? 4. Do you have to replace the dressings every day or is it left on for a week and you're done? 5. Does she have to take the stitches out or do they dissolve? Thank you for any answers you can give me.
It was helpful! Thank you!
Elasticon in this case is sealing the tops and bottoms from outside contaminants and holding the bandage up. It is necessary.
Its possible with pregnancy time
How long do you keep a bandage on the wound before you leave it off completely?
