I've added that card to my Shelob commander deck both because of the synergy and because the imagery that pops in my and other people's minds is pretty hilarious.
I don't know what helps the algorithm more for you, leaving a separate comment or a reply thread, but certainly doing one or the other can't hurt. I love your Brawl Stars series, I've gone back and seen all of them now and the vibes you've got in your stream is absolutely impeccable, plus your gameplay style is really unique and so so so much fun and I love that your priority with deckbuilding doesn't seem to be winning but having the most fun possible I'd love to see deckbuilding tutorials that highlight that gameplay style of yours, it's rare to see experienced magic players make tutorials that are taylor made for making unique and fun decks actually play well, usually they lean more into the competitive side or sometimes you'll see jank ideas or tips on how to make your jank more consistent. In short, I'm curious to see your approach to deckbuilding, how you handle stuff like mana curves and how to get the right ratio of removal/interaction and your own cards to actually play the game with, etc, and I think that'd make for cool content to see on your channel!
Based on my understanding of the rules, Pantlaza would not trigger if eaten by Shelob. At 31:52, we can see that the Ranging Raptors has no creature subtype of Dinosaur. This is because when Shelob makes a token copy of a creature, it loses all other card types except for Artifact - Food. This importantly includes the card type of creature. As Dinosaur is a subtype of the creature card type, the Pantlaza token does not see a dinosaur enter play, and does not discover. If Amy (the Amazonian) then played another dinosaur, the ability would trigger.
Weird bug in the Pantlaza game. Wasn't their real hand though. Their hand showed a Brushland, but when they played it, it was a creature. Also the swords to Plowshares showed as if it was in Exile instead of their hand
FYI, Spinning Wheel Kick still would have worked in the Beluna game. Cursed role just makes it a 1/1, doesn't take away death touch or other abilities. Love the deck and video though!
Deck recommendation - nashi, moon legacy. Built around legends rather than rat synergy. Since you bug us on stream to comment lol. Great vid. Watch you live more.
You got me curious, so I googled it. Spiders supposedly taste like shrimp or crabs to some people (although they wouldn't taste like sea food) and like roasted nuts to others. Not very tasty though, from what I've read.
Shelob’s ability is so flavorful. Love this commander. The one I run has less creature driven ramp and is much more “oops all spiders”. (Plus Ygra and the Bloomburrow turtle who loves big butts)
Great vid. You've inspired me to build a shelob deck. I was stuck thinking what kind of golgari deck to make. Btw just curious what nationality are you?
My favorite commander atm is Tan Jolom Worldwalker. Certainly not the strongest but fun and challenging. The dream is to attack your opponents with The One Ring and play another one every turn.
Unfortunately, it wouldn't be a very interesting deck video. The concept of the deck is interesting, but it doesn't have that many alternate lines of play.
I recall a probably false statistic claimed that we swallow 8 spiders in our sleep each year. I’m guessing Shelob swallows considerably more than 8 humans each year
Actually it’s true that we swallow 8 spiders per year on average, but it’s actually due to the statistical anomaly of my one homie who eats millions each night
As a fellow foodie, I think I would get along well with Shelob. Although I do not play with my food :-P can I pitch a commander I would like you to brew : Elenda, the Dusk Rose. She’s really fun and I would love to see your take on it !
@@Amazonian Will give a shot to join you on the Streams, for sure. I'ts a bit difficult with the Time Differences, but no time for excuses from me! Thanks Amy :)
Myself and my girlfriend April really love you Amy! We watch you while we cuddle lol keep up all the great things you do.. we try to stay up to date with all the info you give us.. it's great.. thank you for the videos!
There is something special about the mental image of a spider performing a spinning wheel kick.
You just grab it by the silk and swing it around like a wrecking ball
It has so many feet to kick with!

why was the glados impression so good 59:36?!?!!?!!?!?!?
i thought for a moment i had a video with glados in the background going!!!!
I thought the same lol it was uncanny
Spiders !? *Run away crying*

It showed the cards that were exiled
"spiders would be like a less salty crab"
CRABS ARE FISH AMY
AND CRABS IS BUGS
Great video! I'd love to see you update your Edgar Charmed Groom deck with all the new vampires from Lost Caverns!
I feel like peregrin took and gilded goose would find a nice home in such a shelob deck
Nice video 👍🏻
They do like food!

Hey now! Snarespinner is great in limited!
Spider engagement. For the net work. On the web.
That Nicanzil player TOTALLY forgot those spiders had deathtouch at the end there lol
OK my 84th commander deck will be Shelob. Thanks amy❤
Normally I hate spiders. But this one wants to feed me, so I guess we can be friends.
Arachnidism is the medical term for a spider bite 🤒
"Legs for Days" XD

Sweet, thanks for posting the deck!
Would Karn be able to animate the food? They still have their mana values right so they would just have the base power of their mana value right?
Yes! Karn the Great Creator does cute things with these food

I love the name of this deck "Legs for Days"
Thought you could sneak that by xD

Btw just curious what nationality are you?
American - from BOSTON! GO CELTICS 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀
@@Amazonian oh ok that's good. I'm meant if you were something else on top of being American. I'm Armenian and American.
I feel like the arena exclusive card slimefoot thallid transplant isn't getting enough love
There was actually aa Beluna deck in this? Awesome shes one of my favorites! Also 43:35 MONKEY!
I KNOW!!! I get so excited when I see "rare" commanders
SHELOB IS THE ONLY SPIDER THAT DOESN'T HAVE REACH?? hOW SAD :'(
My favorite commander atm is Tan Jolom Worldwalker. Certainly not the strongest but fun and challenging. The dream is to attack your opponents with The One Ring and play another one every turn.
I want to try building it!
The lack of spider dance is a flavour fail xD
I DON'T HAVE IT'S, I'M SORRY
I haven't seen people using Tibalt Wicked Tormemtor as a commander for some reason. Devils are cool
Love that fact that you listen to some of the same music RUclipsrs :)
Carlos/InsaneInTheRain is a great one! Consouls too
@@Amazonian 100% always love the playlist while watching the videos
Wild Shape and Tough Cookie go very well with Shelob
I wonder what caused the revealed hand
The Lukka/Caldera combo is interresting : May I sugest you this deck for a future episode ?
Unfortunately, it wouldn't be a very interesting deck video. The concept of the deck is interesting, but it doesn't have that many alternate lines of play.
@@Amazonian I understand. I Will go find a list then
Spider-Man will be great in this deck
Do you think he'll be a Spider Human Mutant? I sure hope so.
I recall a probably false statistic claimed that we swallow 8 spiders in our sleep each year. I’m guessing Shelob swallows considerably more than 8 humans each year
Humans Georg
Actually it’s true that we swallow 8 spiders per year on average, but it’s actually due to the statistical anomaly of my one homie who eats millions each night
Wild bug there.
just you wait they fix the bug in no time, i bet in less tehn 8 months it will be maybe fixed
Benefit if your opponent has arachnophobia they will forfeit to avoid giving themselves nightmares
Always love your decks. Such fun!
I love me some speeders... INGAME at least 🤗
If there's a way to use an opponent's creatures, Amy will find a way!

Hez Amy, hopefully you give "Samut Voice of Dissent" beatdown a try.. Amzing amazing work as always, I'm giving a try to the Spiders 😊
I put it on a few polls for people to vote on during the stream - not many takers yet

Love the video!
Hi, Scraps!
you do song requests on your stream if they're songs from your playlist? that rules!
I can sometimes skip to a cover if it's appropriate for the situation.
Cozy magic content :3
👀 Has Amy found new favourite basics?
It's new Snow lands!
ur the best, dude!
spooders
