    Pallas cats are actually so adapted to mountain home that they often struggle when kept in captivity, so zoos have to create enclosures that are specially designed for them

      Not just that. Because where they live is so cold, some diseases that won't survive in those temperatures are at risk of infecting Pallas cats in captivity.

    A little bit of fun fact about cheetah cubs, if you noticed they have a large tuft of hair on top of the heads and along their bodies. Apparently it helps them resemble honey, badgers, and therefore protects them from certain predators. Until they catch on that is.

    2:50 Funny thing about that Picture: I watched this Video 3 times now. Once on my Cellphone, once on my Dad´s Tablett and now on my Laptop with you Guys.
    For Tablett and Labtop the Dress was White and Gold.
    On my Cellphone it looked more Blue-Green-ish.

  • @BlueRoseWolfie
    @BlueRoseWolfie 9 месяцев назад +9

    That dress picture always screws with me. When he was saying it was white and gold, I saw it as blue and black. he put the text up and said wtf and flipped back to the picture it was white and gold for me now. I literally rewound the reaction vid and the original pic was white and gold for me now. Now I am struggling to see black and blue again. freaking same video and pic. Now I adore all cats, they are all gorgeous and if I wouldnt lose the hand I would like to pet. Pallas's Cats though have a special place in my heart for their look. The perpetual face they have and the floofyness of them makes me want to cuddle so bad. They would rip my face off though.

    • @BlueRoseWolfie
      @BlueRoseWolfie 9 месяцев назад

      @@datzfatz2368 Don't know, it would be interesting to see. Theres probably many reasons one would perceive it as different colors and even flip flop like me. After all, all that we see is just how our eyes are perceiving info from light reflecting off something and our brains registering the info. Theres been studies that show people even seeing things just slightly different but not enough to be registered on color blindness. Problem is how do we tell who is seeing something correctly? Majority rule? In the end all can be correct because its just info we are processing as reality that can be easily changed.

      Cats don't really need to be trained, but you do have to accommodate them with things for their claws. But other than that just get them a couple small toys and they'll be all over them for months. They require less constant attention than dogs once they grow out of kittenhood, just expect some casual affectionate nipping if they consider you their parent.
      And one more thing. *Do not let them be outdoor or indoor/outdoor pets. You put them at risk of sickness, cars, and predators. And cats, like some hunting dogs, hunt animals most times for fun not food, so they need to be primarily indoor.* Cats can be great and calming pets (proven to lower risk of stress and strokes), but they also are the reason for multiple bird populations getting sliced in half.

      Keep in mind, cats may be _slightly_ lower maintenance than dogs, but they're not _low maintenance_ pets. In order for them to thrive, you have to provide them with high quality food, plenty of vertical space in your house, vet care, and a substantial amount of play time every day.
