Home and Away is my favourite programme, and I’m in my 30s! It brings me so much joy and I love Sophie‘s character. Great to hear that the programme supports her with her health
i am in my forties and have watched pretty much every episode of home ands away from the start, it has certainly evolved over that time. remember it being pretty tame when i was a tween an teenager and that is why i was allowed to watch it,. Sophie is a wonderful role model for young people and it is great that Sophie talks about her health and how it affects her work so openly . i am so glad the home and away team supports Sophie so well.
I didn't suffer from endometriosis, I had fibroids which was unbearable too I also had surgery. But for this lady to bring this womans health issue to light is great and give people more understanding is superb. I also watch H&A and I'm in my 40s it's an escapism for me to watch with all the bleakness in the world. I surlute u miss Dillman.
Sophie you are an inspiration to anyone also dealing with the challenges and pain of endometriosis. Great to hear you have so much support in the H&A team. Keep up the great work 👍🙂
You are amazing, talking about this illness is essential, so personal, reaching out and sharing your experience I'm sure will encourage others to open up too. I'm a grandmother so no creepyness intended, I've always admired what has seemed to me, to be your body confidence, you are natural beaut, x
I am sorry to hear you have been going through this. Good on you for persevering on set. I get ya, no you are not weak for being in pain, I have suffered for over 20 years with pain in different parts of body, plus migraines for around 15 to 20 years from my monthly's. Exactly I know what u mean re disabilities, having an ear and support. You are incredible for talking abt this. All the best.
Maybe Home and Away should feature endometriosis as a storyline for Ziggy. It is great that they are so supportive though and I love Ziggy as a character because she isn't a stick thin surfer (I mean that in the nicest possible way!).
