I can't wait for this Pandemic to be over to be able to return (worry-free) to my favorite NY Museums. Thank you so much for conserving our treaures and keeping the interest alive. Cheers
Wow! How beautifully gorgeous! Imagine how much theses paintings must have been appreciated & admired by the people who were lucky to see them over 600 years ago!!!
That is proof we were once a quality conscious species. If this were made in our lifetime it would age itself into the trash along with the morning paper. I'm just ashamed were a throw away society.
I know this doesn’t have anything to do with this video but, how do you guys clean your coin collection. How would you clean tarnish off of an ancient silver coin? I have a silver coin from Ancient Greece. how would I clean it and keep it safe?
I really can't decide if I like this video or not. I mean, from one side the work was very professional, the item looks better than was, but from the other side, I feel that the item lost some of its originality, it doesn't look like a 500 years old item. Like a grandma that we are to try to make her look like 25 years old woman.
It's not about making it look younger or more beautiful. It's about preventing further damage while still maintaining the integrity of the original work. This way, generations of art lovers and scholars can continue to enjoy it.

Hope you will see it in person one day. I promise the paintings retain the dignity of age.
