It is a very useful and comfortable watch to wear. Ever since I did the video I’ve been wearing this watch every day. it is very light and the band does not irritate my skin at all.
It is a great outdoors watch. Thank you for the comment.

Do you know if they make a solar powered model?

I do not know if they make a solar model on the budget Casio survival gear models. The battery on this watch only last two years According to Casio.

I mean, the title of the video is misleading. What G Shock are you talking about? The DW5600? Sure. But if you’re talking about the Mudmaster, Rangeman, Gulfmaster, Frogman or any of the MTG or G Steel lines, then it doesn’t have more features.

It wasn’t meant to mislead you. I was talking about regular G-Shock. Like the DW-9052,DW-5600,GA-100,GA-110,GA2000,DW-6900,GA2100 etc. watches that are $150 or less.
I was not talking about specialized G shock watches, like master of G collection, range, man, gravitymaster, mudman, MudMaster, frogman, etc. where the price starts at 300 and goes to a few thousand. If you do look at just the basic G-Shock, none of them have the sunrise sunset the compass and the thermometer that this $50 Casio has.
