+adambr92 IRANIAN goods should be sanctioned so long as Iran refuses to recognize Israel. Iran is terrorist state and against Jews, this video should be removed from internet and you should be ashamed of making a funny comment on this terrorist propaganda. Iran is after an other Holocaust, shame on you, this is not a joke.

***** Because Iran is an Enemy of Israel and it is a Terrorist state and wants to kill all Jews. This video is portraying Iranians as peace loving people making pistachios, this video is betraying the Holocaust victims. Thats why, if you dont know then you better read the history and realize what did Jews go trough until state of Israel became their sanctuary. So Enemies of Israel should not be tolerated.

Not all pistachios are from Iran. I worked in a pistachio plant in California, USA, and the pistachios were growing in the same area. The nuts were harvested by machines, not hand-picked. Also, I worked in quality control at the beginning, and we never liquified the nuts to test them. Where I worked the process was much more modern, and the nuts went from the tree to the market in a matter of 2-3 days. I've never heard of anyone getting poisoned from pistachios!
This was in the early 1980's.

Your video is a great reminder of the value of patience and perseverance. It takes a lot of time and effort to grow and harvest melons and oranges, but the end result is so worth it. And the fact that you're able to make a living by selling them at the market is even more impressive. Keep up the great work! American and Iranian pistachios are very different, both in taste and form
We believe that pistachios and almonds should be packaged without peeling, This is better for maintaining the taste and health of the product, Of course, you only saw one pistachio production line, We also produce packaged skinless pistachios
My friend, come to Iran, there are many pistachio growers here who gladly welcome you
The funny and surprising thing for Americans while traveling in Iran is that Iranians respect Americans very much. Like a brother, it is the only US government that broadcasts scary things about Iran on world television.

Little known fact, based on personal experience: mice love pistachios. It's like crack for rodents, the only food that mice have ever stolen out of my kitchen.. Bait your mouse traps with pistachios stuck down with a dab of peanut butter; pistachio "butter" would probably be even better, gonna have to find a source for that and try it (I've got some almond-cashew-honey butter that also works better than ordinary peanut butter, but pistachios still work best). I live in rural New England, surrounded by oak trees; we had a bumper crop of acorns this fall and so the mouse population has exploded. They always invade the garage and attic in the Winter and it is a constant battle to whittle away at their burgeoning population. They also like to nest in the trunks and wheel wells of our cars, and chew on jumper cables and any other emergency equipment stowed away in the cubbies.

I like them a lot. But I discovered a trick for opening them without your fingernails. Once you’ve open one nut save half of the shell which you can use like a tool to pry open additional nuts. No more sore fingers.

The Central Valley of California produces the high quality pistachios nuts that most Americans are used to eating. The Iranian pistachios seen in the U.S are usually considered low quality compared to American nuts.

      Iran's pistachios are Organic.
American pistachios are GMOs and spread with chemicals like other
fruits and vegetables are. That is a shame.
