Only a part of the song is the waltz. The rest is different and was written by famous Korean singer Yoon Sim Deok, and the lyrics were written by the scholar and poet Kim Woo-Jin, whose father collaborated with the Japanese empire. They were lovers, and secretly also dissidents against the Japanese occupation. They committed suicide together in 1926 rather than be forced by the Japanese to be use them and their talents for Japanese propaganda.
Even so, I am so excited about the magnificent performance of this talented artist. I would like to see the whole show, but youtube are only posted fragments. Does anyone know where the show can be seen? Please!
