i really like the eye movements because it shows dedication and work put into the animation, unlike other animations where the eyes don't move at all and it's just the default face. anyways good job

this is pretty late, but this animation is incredibly smooth considering it's in moon. how many frames do you usually use for the interval between each keyframe?

omg this is soo good im inspired now to do these and question how does ur animation play perfect and not very early so that like animations over lap eachother like they play too early how to fix that
you extend the not-moving keyframes (copy then paste it later on in the timeline) to however longer you need it to be idle, then you can make it start the action there

How do you make the movements look soooo smooth
he uses a lot of keyframes. a good example would to have a linear keyframe about every 3-6 frames
@@agxtaxor9802 The worst possible method, since "Easing Styles" and "Easing Directions" exists.
@@unjakx i know thundey and i talk to him every once in a while. he confirmed that he only uses easing for the camera in these types of animations
@@unjakx If it's the "worst possible method," then why does the majority of the moon community agree that easings are useless unless it's used for camera work? Plus with linear, you can make your own arcs and movements without the restrictions of easings in's and out's

constant easing style allows movements to be instant

Like do you make the keyframes very close to each other or like do you add a certain easing style for movements(by movements i mean like walking/punching etc.) or something?(im making something for my school project sorry if i sound annoying or anythin)
@@insulator_999 i use all linear and because its well paced, a good combination of timing of keyframes and the poses of those said keyframes. its honestly hard to explain but once you get each "phases" of a certain action, you can pretty much put them in 5-by-5 frames and itll look good most of the time even with linear

There a lot of moon tutorials but just from using them you won’t be this good it takes a lot of practice but if you try hard enough you will definitely get there one day
You also must use your creativity when making an animation you can use irl refs and stuff for more simple things but if you wish to make something unique it’s all up to how good you can use your skills you learnt outside of a simple reference recreation
Meep man and Tacoman have really good tutorials on animating anyways. Six himself also made a tutorial, but that one is only on the basics of the plugin
