I really want to paint this model as well since its still around on website. Amount of paints is incredible. I'm just starting so i have to stock up paints for this project.
If the number of paints becomes too much of a burden you can cut out colors that maybe don't appeal to your preferences. You do not have to replicate every step exactly the same way. For example, the highlight colors on the feathers could be cut out and you could instead dry brush the original base color on in their place. It won't be as bright a highlight but that cuts a couple colors from your paint list. I tend to use a lot of different colors on large models like this but I have been building a collection of paints for many years so I have a ton of options.
@@TheMiniatureManager mate is there any tutorial on your channel how to do Base? Like in this figure this process is not shown at all and it's very important.
@@TesGon In my terrain and basing playlist there are two types of bases I have done in the past. I don't have one for the base I did on this guy but the rock sculpting technique I used in included in both my other basing tutorials.
Thank you. I am glad you were able to enjoy the video. I found that this model is intimidating when you are at the beginning but once you get going it all just starts to fall into place.
The road to 1 thousand registrations is not far away, good luck :)
Thank you for your support. We are well on our way to hitting that 1k subscribers!

Man now I really want to convert one of these for my Knight's
too bad there really aren't any creatures in the 100 kingdoms army lore that you could substitute it as.
That painting on the feathers was wonderful. Feathers tend to be hard for me but quite rewarding when they turn out.
I agree. Feathers can be very challenging. I am happy you liked how they turned out in my video. I was pretty happy with them as well.
Beautiful!
Thank you! I am really happy with how it turned out!
Great paint job on the big dino. Keep it up.
Thank you for watching. I am glad you enjoyed it. Thank you for your support.
wow thats amazing that gives me something to look forward to doing...i want one
I am so glad you enjoyed the video. This has to be the coolest model I have painted for Conquest so far. It was a ton of fun to work on.
This bright orange reminds me of the Ixalan dinosaurs!
Yeah, I could see that.
The colors on this are fantastic!
Thank you. This model presents itself as a great opportunity to use colors outside my normal schemes. It was tons of fun to paint!
Can't wait to paint my Apex Predator, I'm gonna steal some of your ideas!
Glad to hear you want to use some of the ideas in my video. I take that as a complement.

This really took my fear of painting this beast away. Quick, concise and well explained. Hats of to you for a well done video! :)

The oldblood base is 120mm and Is the same size as the Apex predator one so the apex predator lenght Is aproximately 36-40 cm( Hope im right)
He is about 12 inches (30cm) long from nose to tip of the tail.
