Imagine you put the grapnel line on a thread spool, and placed that thread spool onto a dowel, where all the loose thread currently resides? You could put an attachment onto the end of the spool that could be recoiled by a separate battery powered motor. It would make reloading time a lot quicker AND you could store the handheld motor in one of your belt pouches!

Oh I didn't notice that! I picked an assorted pack on Amazon that looked like it would have the most options. My black rubber bands also came from an assorted pack. It's really just a matter of trial and error and testing what rubber bands fit best for your prop.

Yep that's exactly it! If you find there to be too much friction inside of there, you can just let the string hang out loose haha
