At least Joe Staten (Former Bungie developer) is now with 343 that should help the games get back to former glory days and why Halo Infinite is the best one since Halo Reach IMO. I also went back to Halo 3 (360) as I’m an old- old school player who played Halo CE in split screen and it’s still great. Great video by the way.
thats a bit overblown. ce is the most significant to the genre on CONSOLE. that game solidified how fps was played on controller. 2's innovation was the online play via xbl. 3 didnt do anything other then continue the series. its easy to argue that reach is a more important installment because of all the gameplay changes it brought with it(ie armor abilities, sprint, bloom). note that this is significant to CONSOLE fps, pc fps was already doing all of these things(with doom and quake being the big innovators). master chief collection will keep the game alive in some form tho so thats good.
The original 360 Halo games also have more blood than the remastered versions on the Master Chief Collection. The environments in the remasters are criminally pristine, not gritty, not bloody. The Narrows map’s floor tiles on MCC appear strangely polished.
@@y3ldarb2 Maybe to a degree. I played H3 on MCC 2-3 months ago and it still looked like it had this weird kinda sheen to it. Might just be higher resolution and stuff idk. Been on 360 halo 3 since then so I’ll go back and compare soon.
The Xbox 360 servers for Halo 3 will be shutting down, running the xbox 360 version in backwards compatibility will send you to xbox 360 servers. unfortuntately the only online multiplayer option for Halo 3 is on the MCC for Xbox One, Xbox Series X and PC.
343 straight ruined the halo series. But don't worry 343 did better just by a little bit than the coalition. The coalition slaughtered the gears of war series. It's so sad man

Halo 3 was true pioneer for online gaming and the FPS genre as we know it. It’s slightly saddening to see the OG servers go down finally.. *salutes*

The vehicle physics in Infinite feels so off compared to Bungie’s Halo games. Infinite feels more “game-y” as a whole.
