I love how the "Eye" guy is basically just a metronome. Sort of like in garage band, where whenever you turn on or off the metronome, the whole song changes

The amount of layering in this reminds me of "The Great Curve" by Talking Heads... so much going on, but if you focus on one instrument you can hear it so clearly. Very fun to dissect.
I think of it more along the lines of "Our apathy has allowed us to reach a point where we've lost touch with our humanity. But we will not let this be our end. We will reconnect with our humanity and cast off the chains that bind us".
If the mix bonus have anything to say, is that the backstory for V8 is a world dominated by machines, people have to use a set of facial items mandatorily (possible mind control. And is most of the items the characters use on each beat and rythm) and one cyborg rushes to the mainframe to destroy the machine control.
I think really only the rightmost of the bottom left group is drowned out, but aside from that these all go so well together. i also kinda feel like the vocals are somewhat split between 1+4 and 2+3+5 for their kind of aesthetic, with the former being "reach up the stars" while the latter are "we must believe" with their choir-esque vibe. they certainly mesh together, but all 5 at once is a little overwhelming and can lead to ones like 5 being kind of drowned out by 1. i think everything together of the first 3 sections with just 1 and 4 of the vocals, or just with 2 3 and 5 would work a bit better, but that's just nitpicking. sounds great either way.

From what I can tell, the first box is made up of "computers" the second is government/police people, the third box is citizens and the fourth box is the rebels, Wich is cool because they have vocals that are hopefull/soulfull, a contract to their soroundings
