- And so, here is the new 2020 Audi S7, the European version. This is a very controversial engine choice, with this V6TDI. Asia, North America and Middle East will get e petrol powered S7 (RS4/5 engine), so can Europe forgive Audi for this engine, when the car looks so beautiful? You be the judge. I took it to the streets of Berlin.

Gorgeous! This exact spec paired with Arras red interior 😍
Also I just happened to see the new S7 with the Arras red interior at my local Audi dealer, even though it’s called the same color name with the ones in the SQ5, S5 etc. The Arras red actually looks slightly different in the S7. It’s not as bloody/bright red as in the other models but more of a smoother calmer more refined watermelon type of red. It’s so beautiful.
As much as I care for the environment I don’t see them putting strict emissions for rich airline companies, instead they take the fun away from car enthusiasts.

Great work + quality filming and pictures. if possible, please ask drivers to wear black clothing instead of white, it makes them less visible inside the car.
Just worked on one of these. Awesome looking car but they run around 95-100k (one I did was $97k). Having driven this and the 2019 RS5 sportback, as long as you are fine not having the two touch screens, save 10k-15k and get the RS5. Blows this thing out of the water in power, handling, and performance.

Engine of the SQ7 (V8 TDI) or V8 TFSI ok but not this engine. This V6 TDI is for an normal A7 ok not for S7.
The fact that S4 S6 and S7 now share the same power plant is a real shame :( this is the time to enjoy the previous generations
My A6 Avant Competition TDI 346 hp is at least as fast as this.. but honestly i think this kind of sport car should mount a petrol engine all the way!

Also the new tail lights are ugly as fuck. I hate the one long light look. Literally all they had to do was update the interior and that's it but nope they fucked it up

How much? What's sad, my raises can't even keep up with high cost of these luxury cars. The last time I bought a luxury car in cash was a 2001 BMW X5 for $53,000. Ever since, I can't keep up. This is where I make my exit.

I own a 2017 S8 plus. That car is awesome in every way. Auditography your videos are the best! This new generation is a real step backwards. Sound is a very important part of a "Sports" car. This S range is simply not sporty anymore, the sound is terrible. I would never buy this new range. Audi you messed up here big time..

Its for Europe market. Fuel is expensive here compared to USA. Companies mostly lease cars and they want diesel. USA gets petrol version.

@Zack watch Autogefuhl review, exhaust situation is clearly demonstrated. Fakes are only for European tdi though (which this is), petrol version for North America etc has real exhausts, I believe...

Market segment wise also makes sense, pushing petrolheads towards RS7, while those who want a more subtle but still powerful model can opt for the S line.

I want the 2020 Audi RS6 Avant with the optional V8 hybrid engine (same as in the Porsche Panamera) making around or more than 700 hp. There's something about a wagon that is as quick as a sportscar. I presently own the previous generation Audi S7.
And that's the reason that the RS4 B5 Avant is my ultimate dreamcar, and I also own one ;) Cheers

There is no problem with diesel, problem is fake sound and a bit low hp. V6 tdi itself sounds really good with proper exhaust setup. They really should get 400hp out of that, but you can always remap.
