- 🥺 Moment Camera App FAIL! I’d appreciate a sympathy like and subscribe. In my attempt to help you level up your moment, I figured out how to NOT level up. All the preparation, planning, and filming DERAILED by a buggy camera app! The Moment Camera App ( Pro Camera by Moment ) is one of the best camera apps for iphone , but it REALLY messed up this time! The video I shot and was supposed to release today was: “How to Level-Up the Moment like Jack Pearson”. It’s tapping into the buzz surrounding #nbcthisisus and is really the heart of what this creative tech channel is about. However, that didn’t go as planned. So, we pivot and make a video of the failure of the first video! (but I WILL get the intended video out soon!) I may have to go back to the Filmic Pro app !

So what caused the problem?
Dude! Thanks for watching! I guess I forgot to mention WHAT the actual problem was in the vid! Well, I don't know WHY it did this, but it originated from the camera app I used called "Pro Camera by Moment". There was no indication of any issue during filming, but the glitchy result is the original video file it created. Moment app continued to record and showed all normal. I've recorded for well over an hour before with no issues. The only difference between every other time I've used it and this recording was this was the first time I filmed in 4k at 30fps I believe - I usually do 4k at 24fps. My experience with various camera apps on various model iPhones has been that third-party camera apps are buggy as mess. Although this is the first issue I've had with Moment on my iPhone 13 Pro. It crashes constantly on the XR. Filmic Pro is another one I've used for years since the iPhone X. That one has ALWAYS had buggy issue. But when they work, they're super cool. I like some of the feature set of Filmic better, but I really like that Moment lets me film in RAW/LOG if I want. But now... I don't know if I can trust it ever again. I might have to just suck it up on the feature loss and use the built-in iPhone camera app or explore other apps. Or try Filmic again and see if it's better now.
