For some reason this song transports me to a street in late 19th century (late 1880s to 1890s) Britain (particularly England) on a Christmas eve night, in front of a toy store. As I enter the store, I find a charming music box, and when I play it, out comes a boy and girl who look like Garry and Ib holding hands, and this song plays. The shopkeeper, an old man, in a melancholic tone, tells me, "That box, it brings back memories. Happier memories. Happier Christmases, with me wife, who has passed on to the next life; with me two sons, one of whom has died in war, and the other, having left me to pursue his life; with me mum, me dad, and me brother, when I was a boy. This music box has been with me family for generations, and I want you to make memories with it, as I have. I wish you a Merry Christmas, and God bless us everyone." It's not Christmas yet, but this is where this music takes me.
This is such a charming game and it's an experience that is more memorable than most of these big triple A games these days. The game is amazing but the fanart. THE FANART IS CRAZY GOOD. It's like an infinite pool of artistic genius.
While I honestly don't see Ib as a horror game(it's creepy, but not more than that), since it counts as one I will have to say it: Memory is one of the best themes in a horror game in my opinion. Awesome cover, btw!
This song has always been a comfort to me, it reminds me of playing this game back in middle school with my best friend. I saved up for years to buy my own computer and we sat alone in my room playing that game and mad father together. I miss her so much.

Ib is a rgp horror game, where you play the main character Ib (who could have guessed) and you jump into a painting room, and you have to escape.
O gosh... I must be getting old...
