    Thanks, I was wondering and worrying what the orange stream in our woods was, but never managed to find out.It must have been a sacrifice area then.

    Great video. Just a minor correction, the equation at 2:15 has 'ferrous hydroxide' which should be 'ferric hydroxide' as the iron is in the +3 oxidation state.

    there just might be rare earth elements in that drainage and pond tailings and it's worth money. too bad there wasn't a win-win solution
