This reminds me of this other anime that came out years later. About a guy who wanted to make a game but failed. He then wakes up younger and now back in college as he soon becomes friends with the three famous people he looked up to in the future.

I'm Overseas and if I can't get my HS transcripts translated I will have to re do my last year of highschool. I am 20 but look 16 so this anime hits kinda close
If this program was real, I don’t think I’d take the offer to “reset” my life considering that you’ll be placed with children with underdeveloped minds while you’re a full adult mentally so being around children as an adult like that would only make me feel like a creep IMO, however it shouldn’t be difficult to just fit in. Who knows, maybe recovering ten years isn’t so bad regardless the circumstances.
I think most people would feel alienated from the rest of the kids and their social life would be worse than the first go through. Even if they were popular they would be pretending to be something they are not.
Because most animes are watched by juveniles in Japan, when you enter adult life there, it gets serious and pretty much all about work and procuring money for family if one decides too establish one. There are animes and games with adult characters too, but they're hidden among massive amount animes targeted for 16's. Just take it with a grain of sand, maybe creators are influenced by sentiments for more careless life they don't have anymore.
@@sanjyuu7616 I was thinking it was some sort of cultural belief. I get that these are targeted to teens, and a teen protagonist is an obvious choice because of that, but making someone as young as 27 out to be decrepit is just completely foolish
@@msharp6887 Hmmm, in Japan a woman became actually a head of the family in regards of many tasks and finance managment, while man became a money provider, symbolically i think the period before entering adulthood, may be considered a peak of freedom. They are not decrepit though, in Japan there's kind of cultural pressure to be healthy and slim. Anime is not entirely a reflection of cultural beliefs, you may find adult character in more serious stories, that doesn't revolve around mid school period . As i said, you have to look at this with a grain of salt, Japan is a country that propably came from another dimension :)
