Keeping your lawn in perfect condition should be hassle-free. Currently, the installation process requires knowledge and expertise to setup the mowing unit in the most efficient manner. You are also required to rake or collect stones, leaves, sticks, and other small objects regularly to maximize the life of the blades and the cutting performance, adding extra work. ASIMOW simplifies the setup process using a guided voice interface and notifies you when there is fault. Using Amazon Lex, we built an easy-to-use conversational interface to guide you through the mower setup process, as well as controlling the mowing activities. During the setup process you define a working area and, by using state-of-the-art image recognition capability, ASIMOW can detect and avoid obstacles to provide a perfectly cut lawn. ASIMOW also provides an analysis of the current and historical runs and notifies when it’s ready for maintenance. We also built a dashboard on top of the aggregated sensor data to provide some useful information and visualizations.
