I'm 95% sure the Out-of-Taiwan theory is correct because it makes the most sense. The reason some Austronesians are mixed because the Austronesians intermixed some previous people living in the lands and their original language eventually went extinct and got completely replaced by Austronesian. Philippines got completely taken over by Austronesians but there are still Negrito tribes but their original language got extinct thousands of years ago. Western Indonesia was inhabited by Austroasiatics that completely got absorbed by the Austronesians which shows in their DNA. Eastern Indonesia is still inhabited by Melanesians and a lot of tribes are a mixture of Austronesian and Melanesian but there are a few tribes that still speaks Papuan languages. Sulawesi seems to have a mysterious group that got displaced or absorbed by Austronesians.

is found frequently in Austronesians, southern Han Chinese, and Kra-Dai peoples. This lineage is presumed to be a marker of the prehistoric Austronesian expansion, with possible origins encompassing the regions along the southeastern coast of China and neighboring Taiwan, and is found among modern populations of Maritime Southeast Asia and Oceania (Karafet 2005).

Whenever I read articles or watch videos about the origin of the Austronesian and Austroasiatic people, they always pointed to the same directions that I already knew.
Basically, modern humans (homo sapiens) left north-east Africa to the world about 70 kya. Reached SEA about 50 kya by walking alone. The ones that reached SEA passed through the Middle East, India, Andaman Islands and finally arrived in upper Sundaland around Vietnam before spreading further into lower and east parts of SEA. This was done by walking before when the lands were still connected and the big land in SEA was known as Sundaland. These people were in the Australoid form (or studies call them Negritos although they're Australoid from my research).
I think when they met the archaic humans in SEA such as the Denisovan, Java man, etc, they intermixed. And they became Negrito.
The Negritos were the admix of the first wave of modern humans from north-east Africa with the archaic humans in the region.
Studies also show that the first migration to Indonesia was from around Vietnam but there was no Vietnam at that time. This happened about 30 kya. kya = kilo years ago. I think 30 kya, the people who moved to 'Indonesia' region were in the form of Negrito not Mongoloid.
Then about 5 kya, the Austronesian and Austroasiatic speaking people moved to SEA. Austronesian speaking people moved to Indonesia through Taiwan and the Philippines. Austroasiatic speaking people moved to Indonesia through mainland SEA. The origin was around south-east China but there was no China at that time. They brough farming skills and tools with them when they came to Negrito-filled SEA.
A lot of them also intermixed with Negritos that results in a lot of Negritos also have East Asian (Mongoloid) DNAs today meaning they're mixed of Mongoloid Austronesian/Austroasiatic speakers and the first wave of homo Sapiens as well as Archaic humans of the region. Over 70,000 years. Just the Mongoloid genes they have it recently from a few thousands years ago to now. This is why despite their looks, studies confirm that the Negritos of SEA relate way more to East Asia than to Africa. Even the ones with curly hair have part Mongoloid genes, too and there are many of them that have straight and wavy hair which is a product of mixing between the two groups of people. The ones that have straight hair look very much like native SEA especially maritime SEA like the Philippines and Indonesia and especially in Indonesia and even in West Indonesia, too with that looks, they are usually called native Indonesia. So their looks become straight haired, big eyes, 'Asian stare when they stare or look at people', dark skin which are all features of native SEA. So it is these people who are mixed of Austronesian/Austroasiatic people with Negritos are usually what is known as the looks of native South East Asians. Negritos are also known to have big thighs and butts. So there are native SEA that have natural big thighs and butts even among males and this shows the admix.
My question for you is what are your genes.

But there was no China at that time and they're really from the very south eastern part of contemporary China. What caused The move? No one knows; maybe cause northern Chinese moved to south China so indigenous people in south China moved to SE Asia. Different languages and slightly different looks. Most contemporary Chinese are what were the northern Chinese hence the differences in looks and languages between Southern East Asians in SEA and contemporary Chinese.

We must consider that the sea has never been a barrier for us Austronesians, but rather a superhighway.
The best examples are the Visayan provinces, which are part of an archipelago and speak the same family of languages as each other but are separated by sea.
Provinces even when they are close to one another but separated by mountain ranges tend to develop distinct languages and thus more isolated.
Bataan, for example, is a Tagalog-speaking province that borders Pampanga, a Kapampangan-speaking province.
Prior to Tagalog migrations, Zambales, its northern neighbour, was predominantly Zambal and Ilocano speaking.
Cavite, the nearest Tagalog-speaking province to Bataan, is separated by Manila Bay.
We can presume that there are more socio-cultural-linguistic exchanges between islands than between on land.

It didn't have to be islands. Tagalog is widespread inland as far as the Quezon and Rizal, up to Bulacan and Laguna because Laguna Bay is navigable through the Pasig River. The same reason why Pampanga, Bataan, and Batangas are Tagalog-dominated: they have direct ports. Intramuros was enough for the Spanish to rule as far north as Ilocos and deep into the Cagayan river because they are easily reachable by sea, but left the Mountain Province and Ifugao alone for the lack of a navigable river.

Another interesting topic I am starting to dig in are the pre-austronesians (those people called by ancient han chinese as "barbarians of the south"). I've read that they were advanced in wet agriculture and maritime technology which were envied by the han chinese due to their extensive trading with other people. Even before the austronesians in the taiwan, pre austronesians existed and dominated even the southern mainland china. People were described to be animists, covered their bodies with tattoos, lived in stilt houses, and domesticated dogs. Most people
in philippines will undoubtedly relate to those culture. Sadly, only the wet agriculture and maritime technology (but not as great as compared before) were retained. Body tattooing is considerably looked down as taboo in most of the philippine archipelago, with only some people in cordilleras practicing this ancient tradition.
I hope that philippines will focuse more on this part of history, and not just heavily starting on colonial era. It's just, for my opinion, I don't feel connected with that part of history. There were already agricultural peoples there, but their languages and male lineages were almost wiped. My layman's theory is that it's much easier to learn a new, more successful culture by learning their language and assimilating into their social structure than it is to adapt their culture to your own language. Aside from violent conquest, for men that would mean being disfavored as a second-class "citizen" (member of the clan really) and not getting married, and so the "native" y-haplogroups are now a tiny fraction of the European population. Add in that every level of advancement in technology generally allows for greater settlement density and so Indo-Europeans (including those assimilated) would quickly outpopulate the native cultures as well as polygamy was accepted in these cultures, and one can see how there are opposing forces of replacement and assimilation changing the dance of language and genetics in each place different people groups interact.

I agree on the male lineages being wiped out. Many Austronesian peoples are very Maternalistic culture. Even until now, when someone were to get married, they would stay over at the woman's house with the in laws. And customary of passing family heirlooms from Mothers to Daughters. Look up the Minangkabau people, the prime example of a Maternalistic culture .

In March 2006, the author learned from the Dongshan County Museum: After more than two years of joint investigation and research conducted by archaeologists from China and the United States, the "Austronesians" of the South Pacific and Indian Oceans had arrived in Fujian Province during the Neolithic period. Formed the local aborigines of Fujian. This major discovery proves that Austronesians were also distributed in Fujian before the Neolithic Age.

At that time, the Xia Dynasty had not been established, and there was no concept of a country. Before the Xia Dynasty, some brown races in Fujian developed slowly, and the Central Plains culture did not involve the Fujian region. Around the Spring and Autumn Period, the first slavery country, the "Kuo Lou Kingdom", was established in Fujian. Until the early years of the Qin Dynasty, after the Qin destroyed Chu and Yue, it continued to invade the Fujian region. At that time, the southernmost point of the Yue Kingdom was Wenzhou in Zhejiang Province, and further south was the category of the "Bulou Kingdom". "The Kingdom of Bulou" all over the country desperately resisted the invasion of the Qin Dynasty, but it was ultimately defeated. Part of the brown race fled to Taiwan, and the remaining "Gulou citizens" accepted the subsidiary rule of the Qin Dynasty.
After the fall of Qin, the "King of Fulou" was free again, but the time limit was short. Soon Liu Bang's army invaded the border of the Kingdom of Fulou. Due to the great disparity in power, the "Kuo Lou Kingdom" was defeated again and became a dependent country of the Han Dynasty, and was renamed "Min Yue Kingdom". In the period of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty, Minyue State was abolished and became a county. Since then, Minyue State has been destroyed and became part of the Han Dynasty.
In order to disintegrate the survivors of Fujian and Vietnam, Emperor Wu of the Han killed their nobles and elders. Some of the survivors fled to the Taiwan area, while the remaining part was isolated by the northern races, and finally disappeared in the Fujian area due to various reasons. its because not all polynesians descended from actual sea ppl. a lot of them descended from melanesians n island aboriginals but their culture and everything originated from austronesian ppl. melanesians n aboriginals back then were only hunter gatherers but when the austronesians arrived on their islands, they then adapted their culture, etc and abandoned their old hunting lifestyle. another thing is that polynesians never developed an intense agricultural lifestyle and never developed any plant based diet, they were mostly protein based. having such diet and lifestyle can indeed affect growth and it is seen throughout a lot of civilizations who have and have developed agricultural societies. lastly, SEA was subjected to extreme and rabid colonization for 300-400 years that led the native population impoverished and malnutritious. this is basic science, im sure u already know the effects of it. evolution can also be a likely explanation. oh and not to mention, a decent amount of polynesians nowadays especially those living in the west have European blood in them.

I have personally researched on the archeological evidence in Taiwan for years, and I discovered there are three places during the "Kingdom of Dadu" in Taiwan central and western area that are actually related to the ancient civilization of Babylon post flood era based on the archeological evidence of pottery patterns and metallic remains that have been discoverered by local Taiwan scholars over the years, and they realized its resemblance in cultural similarity with the Mesopotamia river-basins of ancient Babylon. Including the snake symbols & tattoos and color patterns of the aboriginal tribal custumes in its designs were almost identical as those of ancient Babylon when the collapse of Tower of Babel post-flood took place. The ethnic group Batuan (pronounced like Dadu in Mandarin) may have immigrated to the Philippine Islands at the same time. The Huiwen ruins in Taichung City, Shisanhang in New Taipei City, and all the way to Sanxian Cave in Taitung have been excavated with the possible traces and remains of pottery and metal pieces from Dadu Kingdom gradually moving towards the South Pacific Islands. The historical footprint of the language were of the same origin for the Austronesian migrants across the South Pacific islands even as far as Indian Ocean. The Minor Ice Age eventually led to the rise of sea levels in the Age of Discovery with Portugal & Spain, it was the main reason why the people of the Dadu Kingdom gradually moved from the island of Taiwan to the Philippines due to the global climate changes. ONE important findings was a Bible translation to ancient Saisia tribal in Taiwan by the Netherlands missionaries back in 1600s.

I find it hard to believe that Melanesians trace their roots to Formosa. That maybe the case for Micronesians and Polynesians, but not Melanesians. Just based on their physical looks alone, they resemble Australian natives much more. Plus they have alot genetic anomalies that the other pacific ethnic groups don't have like natural blonde hair and they lack of a epicanthic fold that can be found in the other pacific island ethnic groups.
I think its far more believable that Melanesians trace their roots to Australia instead. From what I understand about the region, the reason why Australian aborigines aren't considered apart of the Formosa migration is because the aborigines trace their roots back to ancient hominids from Africa that traveled along the southern Asian coast line where they were able to settle in Sahul (what is now Australia and New Guinea that was once connected). Once the land bridge disappeared due to raising sea levels, the aborigines remained pretty isolated.

Most of the people wear winter clothes coverered by a plastic rain-proof poncho. There is also the north of Vietnam where you might even find snow. The Austronesians are not far from Da Lat even today. I am not saying Austronesians settled in cold areas but there are definitely cold areas not far from where Austronesians in Vietnam live today.

I dunno, this has been proven to the satisfaction of most people working in the field. Sure, we'd love better evidence, but these people were illiterate and didn't leave written accounts for us. Looking at their language, genetics, and physical cultural artifacts like pottery is pretty much all we're ever going to have to go by.
They almost certainly reached South America too. Even if sweet potatoes somehow were growing in the Pacific before the Polynesians showed up, there's no way that the Polynesian words for it would all be cognates of the Quechua word for it unless they got it from them. The seafaring abilities of the coastal peoples of South America are apparently such that they could have reached Rapa Nui in their canoes once they knew that it existed and where to sail, and genetic evidence suggests that they probably did. But the Polynesians probably reached South America first.
And not just South America. The Chumash nation of California are legally recorded as Native Americans, but their traditions strongly suggest a Polynesian origin. We also have records from a Native traveller from the 1700s named Moncacht Ape (check him out sometime, he's as accomplished and interesting a traveller as Marco Polo or ibn Battuta) interacting with Native Hawaiians sailing to the coast of Oregon to harvest dye from some kind of tree that is now probably extinct.

The Brown Race or what academician called Austronesian is indeed span from Madagasdar to Hawaii,Taiwan to Australia..sharing quite similiar language, clothing, and attitude..
But what this video missing to mention that this brown race also used to live in the land that now called Cambodia, Thailand and Vietnam..however due to centuries of war between them and the Viet people coming from southern China, they leave or assimilate in that land and still can be trace by their brown skin in current Cambodia,Thailand and Vietnam..
But what i think doesn't quite makes sense is this race originate from Taiwan, which in turn originate from Yunnan..
Yunnan is not brown skin..even Taiwan is not fully brown skin..and considering they originate from there, there should be many brown skin population from their original land then migrate downward..does that makes sense..
It is more plausible that this brown race originate from an oldest race of similar colour from middle east or africa (earliest human)..and settle in big continent before they migrate outwards from south east asia (i.e indonesia, malaysia, filipina) to Taiwan,Cambodia,Thailand,Australia,Hawaii,Fiji,New Zealand,Madagascar, and other islands..the reason this migration happen because of climate change and rising sea level which is known as the Great Flood during ice age melting..

Formosa (Taiwan) have many Austronesian language variation from current Indonesia,Malaysia and Philippines because it is the last island settled in by Austronesian people..not the origin..but the last one..given time hundred years, they may as well speak similar variation in one island..that makes better sense..
For example now they speak more Mandarin because there are many Taiwanese-Chinese people..
If Austronesian people really comes from Yunnan China to Taiwan, their language should have sounded or have words derived from Chinese or Tibetan..but thats not the case..
Variations in Austronesian language happen because of place they settled in and borrow words from other language (they dont have writing system so language is their primary communication unlike chinese which have writing)..until later that austronesian at the land use sanskrit (from india) to write and after that jawi (derived from arabic) and now roman alphabet..

Anyways, if you are 100% sure you have no Filipino relatives or lineage then it most likely means you are 60-70% Austronesian, meaning your ancestors are mostly Austronesian and share the same ancestral heritage as some austronesian majority islands. Historical cause
This is why modern Fujianese contain a large amount of O3 in the north and a small part of O2 in Baiyue, but not M1 and M2 in the South Island.
Today's Fujianese belong to the yellow race, the descendants of the fusion of the northern Han and Baiyue people, but not the descendants of the Austronesians. The Austronesians belong to the brown race or the brown white race, and their genetics are different from the modern Fujianese.

The genetic ancestry of the aboriginal Taiwanese isn't a very good argument in itself because they are a very small ethnic minority in modern Taiwan, However, CCP China's claim of Taiwan is also very poor. Taiwanese being predominantly ethnic Han doesn't make them part of China; ethnicity does not confer nationhood. Furthermore, Qing dynasty, when mainland China and Taiwan were first ruled under the same government, was not even ruled by the ethnic Han, but rather by Manchus that claimed China's Mandate of Heaven that also happened to conquer Taiwan. So the claim that Taiwanese people being majority ethnic Han holds no value on whether or not it belongs to China. Qing dynasty didn't even hold Taiwan when it collapsed since they ceded Taiwan to Japan.
