For the experiment, he does run only one sub at a time. You only see 6 in his van in the video because that is the footage from a show, not the experiment. Yes, he really is doing those scores on the site, some 180+, with just one 18" sub at a time.
oh hell i was at this comp i had the nissan sentra with the 3 12;s in the trunk doing 50's i now have a b pillar wall with 5 12's , are u going out to the showdown in las vegas show in feb ?
Oh, yeah! I mentioned the two 15' Audio Legion s3015's for sale to you. I am totally going to the Primm NV show later in Feb. Let me get a an interview with you describing where you were and where you are now for my channel!
@@caraudiolab ahh ok now i rember who ya are , for sure man , im not sure if ill be there for both days but ill deff be there on the 24th all day , haha my shitbox wont be hard to spot in the crowd down there
@@Rider-xsb Love it! I look forward to seeing it again, an awesome budget build that does a good score. I am sure my viewers will appreciate it as well. Thank you!
Ey man what do you think of the stu 1546 ? Its the sub I settled on. Been wanting it since it came out. Really sounds good and plays low. Actually didn't take near as much power to run as I thought.
I am glad that it didn't disappoint with the performance, because the only downside is it isn't as efficient as some other subs. Other than that, it is a great sub. I know they had some good buys on them lately, if I needed some subs for a good price, I probably would have considered them as well.
@@caraudiolab I get that. To be honest I think my sdr was louder especially at higher notes but didn't move near as much air or sound half as good. But I am only putting about 1200-1500 watts to the stu and having some clipping which worries me about adding more power. Stu calls for 3.65 i think and my box is 3.85. Do you think that is enough to make it bottom out on those Watts? Worries me because it is a 3k rms sub and I am only giving half of that and on some notes it seems like I am maxing x max out. What do you think?
I think Carols used a ton of fiberglass epoxy in this one. I am editing a video right now a a daily driver that does over a 180! I hope to have that up in the next few days.
Every car weighs a ton.
OK. I didn’t want to be that guy, but was about to make the same comment. Lol. I hope his van weighs at least 2000 pounds. lol.
Astros weight is 2900lbs @@danielsgarageaudioandvehic8993
I know right? 🤣 Such a silly thing to say. I bet that van weighs pretty close to 12,000 lb
I think that is fairly accurate.
Hilarious that Skar was the only sub to destroy his amps. 🤣
😆
Thanks for this video somebody had mentioned him but I had no idea who he was.
Glad it helped!
Build a monster sub and send it to him lol let's see what it can do
I did hahahaha

I bought his first big boy subs off him he through 7k to each one and blew them then I bought them
You can’t hear much outside the van. But you can feel it. The air around the van vibrates, it feels like a set of hair clippers on your head
I still remember some mid 170 burps with a door open on one vehicle, I would get as close as I could. The ground would just shake, it was awesome!
Man this guy's playing for keeps!!!!! Niiiiccceee ❤
Carols is a really nice guy but he is super competitive! He will blow all of his subs just to move up from second to first in one event!
My boy Carlos
Nice its very loud.
I think viewers took it literally...
one sub...
aka singler !!
Gives new meaning to creaper van 😬😬

“Single sub experiment” *shows 6 subs *
This isn't the experiment lol
This was some footage from a show of his van. Check out the video links at basswars to see the actual runs with one sub at a time. :)
I need to start buying Boss Audio. Only ever did around 150 with 2 DD 3515's.
🤣
Looks like a bomb with wheels...😊

@@brockmarquis8511 They are just not as loud as other subs per the power. Overall though, they are a decent sub.

BOSS audio? 172db Wtf?
Remember that between that 172 and the almost 182 score is about 10x louder. Still, the boss audio did well because the moving parts weigh so little.
160db with 6x9s
