The lightsaber is a precision weapon, in the hands of a skilled user it can be used either to maim, kill, or refrain from killing. A blaster kills anything in the general direction of where it's aimed. Also an argument that the saber is more defensively oriented, matching the Jedi philosophy, as opposed to a more aggressive ranged weapon.
@@ConnorLinley A blaster _can_ kill, like a lightsaber _can_ kill. If someone knows how to use it well enough, they can shoot somewhere that will just maim and injure or will terrify. Shoot here, lethal. Shoot there, not lethal. Lightsaber works much the same way; thrust/slice here, lethal. Thrust/slice there, not lethal.

My views on this game completely changed when I played it. Yes it has/had performance issues…but holy shit is the game incredible. It’s waaay faster than the original, the light sabers feel more lethal, the level design is on another level, and it’s just a smoother gameplay experience across the board compared to Fallen Order. I wish they didn’t release it with as many issues as it had because it partially masked just how amazing of a game it is. The action is seriously top notch.
i said this when the game dropped around a month ago and i stand by it, even the old jedi knight games dont compare to the amazingness that this game has made me feel, this game brought what everyone wanted from a jedi game, i personally didnt experience any issues other than crashing 4-5 times in the first 2 weeks on my ps5, my fps was alos always around 60 fps, not perfect but i never got the terrible fps drop and screen tear i keep hearing about, so from me, its a 10/10.
I played Fallen Order right before Survivor and I was stunned how much punch Survivor’s combat feels like. You really get the sense Cal is no padawan and is a full fledge Knight.
This is exactly how I imagine cal would look and be like if he were a general in the clone wars , the hair the commander chest outfit the flair the style everything was top notch 💯💯🔥
I wish there was another New Game + perk like the one that replaces enemies with harder ones, but the opposite. You encounter larger groups of lower-level enemies like stormtroopers and scout troopers
You can also fight it between the gaps of the two rocks. It can’t reach you, except when it lunges at you with its red attack, so hide behind the rock.

Lol its hard bro... Even as Cal 😂 I've been using Slow+push on enemies that have charge beam attacks for 3 days and only have ONE vid where it blew them up 😂😂😂 the force works in mysterious ways
nah im on ps5 aswell, with performance mode on. Im not really sure how your getting such bad graphics, it seems just to be luck if your game quality and performance is well optimised
Well in my opinion weather you kill with that weapon gun or saber youre a killer now i mean you cab be a good jedi alll you want and still kill sith lords as you want but either way they were jedis too lol so uncivilized or not or whatever at the end you kill a person or alien species thing lol you cant get rid of killers because you came to be one when you killed...

I feel exactly the same. I think this is finally the game to top Jedi Outcast for me. My new favorite Star Wars game. Perfect Jedi simulator

I loved that you counterattack the commando droid before it hits you with force push.
That rancor at the start of the video, bruh I literally fought it on top of that rock, I can hit that rancor but it can't hit me bruh.

They really nailed the sound. Animations just need a touch more polish but it’s 95% there.
Bro half the time the red execution circle comes up for me, Cal will just do a normal attack. I’m trying to see these cool executions man 😩
It’s all about timing and spacing friend, the latter being most important.
I really wish we could get a rated m game to end the trilogy where final lightsaber blows dismembered how they are supposed to.
