The entire world is complaining about the super annoying automatic shutdown. I don't understand why your company keeps selling this product without fixing this issue. What were your engineers thinking when they designed it? Seriously. I also read that the T9 interferes so heavily with radio reception (on DAB+) that it makes it impossible to use the radio. What is your comment? Is this related to the tubes? Related to the power supply? Something else? Do you also intend to fix this? And can you please be HONEST about the power rating? It's 2 x 25W. Thank you.
Loving it! @AIYIMA AUDIO thank you. Incredible product that does meet my expectations and excel if u use higher end dacs, cables and speakers. Having heard rega brio, cambridge audio axa25, yamaha a-s801. I can say it is par a-s 801 if u match with a decent dac (in my case zen dac v2) and excel over brio and axa25. I would recommend rather bright sounding speakers to match with.
This is an incredibly useful product with great value, but is there any way to defeat that ugly annoying CLICK sound from low input signal? Please remove this feature from the next revision, as customers don’t like it. Thank you very much.
Really annoying problem with this product, any time the music sound is 0 the T9 turn in stand-by mode or auto-mute, and when the sound come back (i'm using optical) it need 1sec to come bakc, for pc use it's really annoying.
I was very excited about this product until I discovered it was missing a phono input. I'm hoping the next version has a phono input (including the grounding lug). That would make it a complete product -- or at least a more complete product. It would still need a tuner to be truly complete, but a phono input would be enough for me to buy one. Old people and audiophiles still play records. Old people still listen to radio. HD radio would be nice. In a nutshell, make it a modern version of an old school 70's receiver. One box that does it all and does it well.
External Phono preamp can be commected, also a mixer with Phono output!!! Besides, asían people are not interested in vinyl like westerns and South americans
I am not sure if this would good for gaming due to the auto standby being only 10 seconds. If I have a 15 second quiet spot on an Xbox game with a live signal, would this go into auto standby?
We have only tested that the RCA connection of the mobile phone will not have this problem, and this problem will only occur in the Bluetooth connection. Under normal circumstances, if the iPhone is silent for about 10 seconds, there will be no problem. A small number of Android phones will have this problem. We haven't tested the XBOX, so don't know if this problem will occur. If it is connected through RCA, this problem will not occur.
Randy at cheapaudioman did a review on this T9, and specifically mentioned driving his Polk R100s with it, and he said it worked great. I'm about to buy this T9 for an old pair of Polk RTi28s for a vintage-ish LaserDisc setup, and everything I've seen indicates it'll do just fine on many different speakers. Of course, you'll need to meter your expectations. It's a ~$130 integrated amplifier, so it's not going to sound like a McIntosh. I think for reasonable listening levels, the T9 will do perfectly well for the R100s and many other similar speakers. Naturally, it's subjective, but I trust what cheapaudioman says. Besides, you can Prime it. If you hate it, send it back!
@@johnhancock6951 thanks for the response I watched that episode when it first came out and forgot he had mentioned the T9’s with the Polk speakers. I will watch it again. Th T9 is on order will have it tomorrow. I was also thinking about the emotiva TA1. Figured I’d try the T9 first. Cheap audio is still expensive so hoping it sounds good. Just got the R100’s in from their recent sale.
@@rbc4499 One thing Randy doesn't mention is the auto shutoff that's called "sleep mode" in the above video. I also ordered this and will have it today....from what I'm reading on other written reviews that shutoff is both loud (it "clicks" whenever it starts, and does the same when resuming) happens waaaaay too often and in many areas from movies and podcasts to music between tracks making it almost impossible to watch a movie or listen to a podcast/music without constant, audible interruptions. Hard to believe they consider this a "feature"! As I like to see this first hand instead of from some random stranger on the internet, I ordered one and will see if it's as bad as the written reviewers say it is. I'll report back here and elsewhere with the results. I like Randy, his suggestions haven't failed me in the past, I hope this holds true here.
@@rbc4499 you r in for a treat, my friend. I got r200s and it drives them fine. But I think it is better to match it with brighter speaker rather than my r200. I have a pair of dali rubicon2 and they ofcourse sound better since they belong to a higher tier but I would still recommend something like elac, triangle, maybe kef. @@jazzabana it does sound great up to moderate volume. Higher volume feels like I could use some more power. Maybe it’s just a lack of low end base. Have a RSL Speedwoofer on order should be here in a few weeks. Excited to hear what they sound like together.
Decepcion de este miniamplificador, no tiene un sonido profundo es muy encajonado, suena como si estuviera en una caja, le puse parlantes nuevos Pioneer pero no es lo que esperaba.
Are you ever going to fix the fatal flaw of the auto shutoff making it impossible to get through a simple podcast without it cutting out half the words trying to turn itself back on a hundred times?? This is a great amp, pity you sell it without even considering that it's flawed and you're doing nothing to fix it! What a ripoff!
