- In a statement by Kensington Palace, Kate Middleton announced that she is undergoing chemotherapy treatment for cancer. The news comes after months of speculation about the Princess of Wales’ health and just weeks after King Charles III also announced that he was diagnosed with cancer.

It isn't about her being more or less important than a homeless person, she's not either. It's about having empathy and respect for an individual going through a hard time. Her difficult times happen to get more publicity than a homeless persons; that's just the way the world works. Famous people get more publicity.

I'm not very emotionally invested in Princess Kate (just a Millennial from Tennessee who thought her wedding dress was beautiful years ago), but this video about made me cry. My husband underwent surgery and chemotherapy last year and we have two small boys. I totally understand the struggle of explaining how this thing that makes you feel and look sick is actually making you better. I pray her children keep their childlike joy during this experience and for strength to endure for William and Kate.

Not helpful, there were people very sincerely concerned for her. They know who they are and will abide by the Princesses wishes moving forward. As a person that lost my mother at age two, I have great compassion for Catherine and her family. William must be feeling overwhelming anguish and fear, after losing his own mother so cruelly, that his children might experience the same pain he did if Kate were possibly not there to be able to raise their children.
They seem like a wonderful couple who have worked very hard to use their financial resources, influence and time to be involved promoting so many charities that benefit others.

My mom has a kidney mass removed last December that they didn’t know it was cancer. It was until it came back from Pathology that it surprised everyone
Hope your Mom is doing well. I wonder what causes such masses in the kidney. Had the same diagnosis, followed by a nephrectomy. Now living with a single kidney.
She needs rest and prayers. The media needs to leave them alone so she can get her treatment and heal. Think of her children, they need prayers and to spend quiet quality time with her and their father.
