That's right, about the hug. I mean, you see him having casual sex all the time without any problem, but it took a year and more than a few tears from Chloe to let her hold him, and even then it was kind of awkward. Hug is about offering comfort, which for Lucifer is a milestone, so yeah, more intimate.
Regardless of whether we like the character of Eve or not, she appeared at Lucifer's emotional lowest point. Lucifer needed acceptance and Eve gave it to him. Chloe's selfless act of jumping on Lucifer to protect him from the blast let Lucifer know that Chloe still cares about him. This means (for Lucifer) that he can still be in Chloe's life at least as her co-worker.
Ella was fantastic in this episode ! It was hilarious howe Lucifer & Chloe were trying to keep a case open and Ella had all the evidence, sorted etc to close it. The drugs made her funny as hell.
By this point Lucifer is still recovering from his worst fear coming true. What Chloe did was exactly what he feared. Eve is a safe buffer. It allows him to work with Chloe and not get hurt
Seems every possible roadblock is thrown at Lucifer and Chloe so finally they will come together for each other. Wondrous how amid the turmoil and hilarity we get a moment of tenderness.
Chloe's talk with Amenadiel reminded me of Chloe and Maze working together in the Season 1 finale. Maze said she'd seen Malcolm's symptoms before. Chloe asked where ... then added _"Forgot who I was talking to."_ She should have been suspicious that Lucifer and Maze _"shared the same metaphor"_ -- *AND* -- both had super strength! Or do _"delusional"_ people all have super strength?
I loved your list of social media, but ... no _Wobble_ account? 😃 Remember when Lucifer mentioned his? (I wonder how many people *ATTEMPTED* to find that service?)
So the creationist lore is that Adam and Eve were the first people, they had Abel and Cain, and then Cain became the first murderer when he killed Abel
Well, Chloe jumping on top of Lucifer was _"payback"_ for the _"axe scene"_ where Lucifer jumped in front of the axe thrown at Chloe. Now they're even... It *WAS* sufficient to restore their *WORK* partnership, but reconciling _DeckerStar_ is still contingent on Chloe *ACCEPTING* Lucifer, devil face and all. Remember Lucifer's question in the penthouse (4x03) -- _"could you accept me _*_LIKE THIS?"_* Both acts of self-sacrifice were somewhat symbolic. The axe was going to hit the post anyway (unless Lucifer deflected it somehow). Had Lux collapsed, Chloe's body wouldn't have provided much protection. (Plus she should probably have shielded his *head.)* And being atop Lucifer probably wouldn't have put Chloe in much *additional* danger. Still ... the sentiment was sweet in both cases.

I agree with this so much. Casual sex or kissing is something Lucifer does all the time but hugging is different....at least for Lucifer.

i never understood the hate eve got from ppl it was odd. i love her character she was a great addition to the season
Maybe because the majority of ppl want a Deckstar ship. lol
Wait she got hate??
@@julio1148 yea a good majority of ppl on Reddit, and a few ppl on others reaction channels comments section I think she played her role very well
@@MarciaElder I mean I can understand disliking her cause she split the ship but to hate the character is just odd
@@thedernboy me too… glad I missed that

Everyone says she would have seen Lucifer with other girl, it hurts. But did u forgot chloe have been in relationships too with others
Hahah right like she was with Pierce/Cain literally last season 😂
I agree. In context a hug is more emotionally intimate for Lucifer.
A high Ella is sooo fun 😄
Everyone started loving Eve after this episode. ^^ She has flaws but so does every humans but it doesn't come from a bad place.
I definitely didn't. It wasn't until like season 6 when I finally did.
@@sethgibson5148 you were one of "those" people, huh?... she literally just came from heaven and you were all still like "she's evil!!" lol
@@zimvader25 nah, just didn't like her personality

"No, I want Eve and Maze"
Huh, Rana's in luck
Yes, -Cain- __ was Eve's son, so ...
If Chloe had married him, and Lucifer marries Eve ... Lucifer would be Chloe's _"stepfather-in-law"!_

Pat was falling asleep most the episode😂😂
He is the worst of the bunch! 👎👎👎
also they still dont understand how you end up in hell they think its based on sins still
I live for the scene between Chloe and Amenadiel

Remi in the next episode 🤘🏻🖤🔥🔥🔥
@20:53 team "Eve and Dan" vs team "Maze and Dan" lmao
There was a minor slip-up in this episode. The dead guy's car had California license plate _"6PCI483"_ ... and so did Lucifer's _Aston Martin!_

Hey, Chloe. Remember what Eve said about being created for someone else ...
Just saying ...
A kiss is more affected than a hug that makes no sense
