@@gregotox quick question before I answer, just so I know at least this much. I assume you're mostly an anime only up to this point? I just assume that because of your statement about wanting a manga without an adaptation

@@gregotox Okay! I can work with that. I'll just give ya 3 series and you could pick which ever grabs your attention most. I'd give Pluto a read since it's so short (8 volumes) and who knows when/if the anime will ever come out. It's a really great introduction into Urasawa's manga. It's a great manga about robots and war. Good stuff. Nothing you mentioned implies you're a fan of battle shonen but I wanna shill Twin Star Exorcists because its anime is just a flat out horrible adaptation of one of my favorites. It may as well not have an anime since it only adapts 3ish volumes (poorly might I add) of its nearly 30 volumes and the rest is anime original. @@NINJAMUSHI Thanks a bunch! Since you were kind enough to give me a 3rd, ill read 2. Ill start with Pluto tomorrow. As for the manga I read but ended up not liking, Ill give a fair SPOILER WARNING in case anyone else reads this comment. It was Dorohedoro. While the art is indeed exceptionally good, I had 3 main problems with it. 1-The ending felt like a joke. The last 50 or so chapters I felt the manga just stopped taking itself seriously, but I still held the possibility of a huge twist changing everything, which needless to say the whole "become the most powerful mage (and a Gyoza one of all things) out of nowhere" thing just killed all remaining interest I had. 2-The world of Dorohedoro is an incredibly awful place, not in a bad way, in the fact I yearned for it to change for better, however it was dissappointing that it did not. You would think that after humans and mages teamed up to beat the literal manifestation of human grudge against mages, some sort of compromise would be met between them but instead mages are still awful and the "Happy ending" kinda thing is that now humans have a way of "fighting" back in case they get attacked in an alley for being of a different race, which is still horrible. 3-None of the characters change in any way. Every single character (exepting maybe Dokuga/Fujita) stays the same. They, quite literally, start and end the manga in the same place both mentally and physically. At the end of the day I feel as if the manga ended and the world stayed the same, the characters stayed the same and the ending murdered any bit of hope I had of something changing. --- Thanks again for the recommendations. Ill be reading Pluto and atleast 50 chapters of one of the other 2. PD: Goodnight cause its 3AM!

As a big Jojo fan just dividing headfirst into the other GOATs of manga, I love this list. Such good recommendations! If you didn't read them, I think the Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan spinoffs are pretty dope. Some are kinda bad --rock insects :(, but some have really cool concepts. I'm gonna look into Pluto, cuz I just finished Monster and that was such a good slow burn thriller.
This is the first video i saw from you and its amazing i didnt look at the subsriber count until the end and WOW you are so underrated please just keep posting
Its crazy how similar my taste is to yours, I didnt expect someone to have the same opinions as me about junji ito. I think you should try reading golden kamuy, you might like it
Glad you like Dorohedoro as well. One of the best manga art I've seen, super detailed, brutal, funny characters as well as a strange atmosphere conveyed in its world building.
Finally the kind of video that I wanted to see. Might as well recommend some. Imawa no Kuni no Arisu / Alice in Borderland, The Horizon, My Dearest Self with Malice Aforethought, Sweet Home, Tsui no Taimashi
Oh boy I didn't want to argue with someone's lists especially with so many great recommends but putting Hideout at 6/10 is a disgrace, the art alone is a 7/10 and the themes of the values of japanese society used as a horror concept is amazing. Other than that I am really impressed how many good recommendations you have in this video.
Well done edit! But I struggle to see stuff like chainsaw man being given a 10 when the writing is cringe/sub par imo. Clearly it’s popular so what makes it that special/uniquely good for you?
Not really gonna say anything that you haven't heard elsewhere, at least without a more descript conversation that would be better placed elsewhere (namely, working on the multi-hour analysis I'm doing on it right now). To summarize, I guess I'd say: The character writing is multi-layered and often dynamic (while being endearing), the ultra-violent battles are super refreshing and exciting, and the world of CSM is endlessly interesting. Additionally, a lot of what it has to say is pretty meaningful, both as a cautionary tell of grooming and a depiction of abuse found in a corrupt work culture. Anyways, that's pretty much it. I disagree that it's cringe (at least in ways that it isn't intended to be) or subpar
I still haven't, though I've owned the entire series for a super long time. I only read the first volume and thought it was great. Always wanted to get it to.
Thanks to this video I found some manga to read. If it’s about the video I don’t agree with some of your ratings but this is what I love to watch , other people opinions about manga/anime❤❤
I totally agree with your opinion of DeadTube. If the series ended with the protagonist's dad's arc and then the protagonist committing "self-anti-living" it would've been one of the best endings in fiction
You should try reading gakkou gurashi, it's good and short (around 70 chapters, it gets amazing at the end and also has an anime, but I recommend reading instead since the anime drags out things) You can also read " I am hero" but I doubt you would really like it since its a bit weird
Haven't read Monster yet (watched the anime) and didn't read enough Uzumaki to know what to rate it. I watched Your Lie in April, wasn't a big fan of it, and I'm pretty excited to watch/read 3-gatsu
Maybe I should give Dorohedoro another chance. I dropped it after 16 chapters because it just hadn't hooked me yet. Since you like One Piece I'd recommend the Wanted! anthology as well as the Romance Dawn one-shot. I love One Piece, but I'd also like to see Oda make manga that isn't One Piece, I just like his art and writing. If there was one ecchi manga I would recommend it would be Nozoki Ana. I'm so happy that Hunter x Hunter is returning, it's probably my third favourite manga behind Berserk and One Piece (Chainsaw Man part 1 might be fourth, idk).
If you give it another chance, hope you enjoy it! If it isn't for you, that's okay. I did read Romance Dawn, but forgot to include it! And yeah, I feel that way about Araki as well. Would love to see what else he could do beyond modern JoJo.
@@NINJAMUSHI agreed tbh I don't think it has any big flaws the ending of the series makes sense if u view it thematically but the only flaws I do see is cyborg Archer, that 4th episode, some characters not being as developed like hohenheim and Bradley and we got that movie which ain't all that good 💀but fma03 is more of a character study on the main cast less on the side cast but still I prefer more 03 shit solid -10/10 for me but both versions are great
now that I watched the whole video, I forgot which ones you scored high and that I wanna check out.. so I guess I'll just go to your anilist then LOL Really enjoyable video though! I'd like to see more videos like this, while also continuing the scripted and thought out stuff. Keep it up!
My scores are slightly different on anilist (need to update them) but it should be roughly the same! Thank for you the encouragement, though. I certainly shall. :)
wow thanks, got a couple for my reading list if anyone interested in more stuff: "Asper Girl" heavy stuff but idk good "Chikan Otoko" absolute staple of a relationship manga out there, just throw away all your previous knowledge about romance manga for this one "From now on we begin Ethics" reaaaaaaaaal good, episodic phylosophy manga, each chapter is like a separate lesson from teacher to each individual student "Isekai Ojisan" i loooooooove it, chapters are like monthly issue but holy smokes it is worth the wait, just strange ojisan in another world and all his comrades dealing with his hit yeah "Skill of Lure" manhua, more on the silly side, very funny for me, goes on about character growth in romance peace XD
No Yotsuba! That was a shock after seeing some deep cuts on this list. I'd give your list a hard 0 for that, but you have good taste otherwise, so 8/10
Are you up to date on Kaguya? I just found your comment about it taking too long funny considering Kaguya is way quicker than most romance series when it comes to the main couple getting together. Overall great video really enjoyed it! The writing was good though the characters seemed a little deadpan at places, 9/10
I'm 17 volumes in, had to take a break because of burn out. I was enjoying the progression during those last few volumes, though. I just lack patience with most romance in general haha
@@NINJAMUSHI ah fair enough. I certainly prefer a romance series that gets to the point quickly. If you haven’t already you should check out Horimiya, fantastic series that I really love. It does have its flaws like after a certain point things just kinda stop happening but I will always love the characters way too much to even care.
Eh, I thought it was roughly the same with maybe a slight edge to the anime because of presentation (only seen season 1). But at this point in my life, an anime needs to be a lot better than the adaptation for me to watch it over reading the manga
Apparently, Cutie Honey wasn’t that influential. Craftdwarf made a video on magical girls and why Kill la Kill is not a magical girl show because of misconceptions that the west has, and he also mentions Cutie Honey as the same phenomenon. He is one of the more knowledgeable guys on manga/anime history in the anituber sphere, especially with shonen, magical girls and Tokusatsu. It was more a pioneer for ecchi stuff than magical girl stuff. Wait have you read Bleach, or just watched it? And for recommendations, I would recommend Yu Yu Hakusho (anime and manga are both worth it) since you like Hunter x Hunter, and if you like early parts of JoJo, Fist of the North Star is pretty much parts 1 and 2 of JoJo, but better for the first 135 chapters of it because that’s where the manga was meant to end. For Sports manga, recommendations would be Slam Dunk, and I heard that Captain Tsubasa is pretty solid as well, but I haven’t got into that genre. Since you like short love stories, My Love Story has 50 chapters, although I cannot confirm if it is good or not.
Pretty true. Dragons dream and some of the outfits (lang wrangler and rikiel) were mid/bad. I still really love Stone Ocean and consider it my favorite of the first 6.
Thanks! It's kinda funny because, in my personal life, my girlfriend actually uses Rokuro a lot as her pfp. So, when I decided to use him for my RUclips it felt like I stole him away from her just a little. Worth it though, because Rokuro is the best haha
Hm ... think you need to reread JJK through a more critical lens. Not in the sense that you're too hard on it, but in the sense that I have a feeling you're missing most of what makes the series special.
Forcing myself to read it a second time would probably only heighten my own disappointment in it, rather than make me like it more. I mean, I've watched the anime and read the manga-twice was plenty. To quote my note on AniList: "I'm trying my best to understand the appeal of Jujutsu Kaisen. I think, as of right now, I am taking it for what it is: a fun battle shonen. I am not the biggest fan, but I think I'm coming to terms with that fact. It's okay to like it but not quite love it like everyone else. In terms of combat, I really enjoy it when the action is flowing. The art has a great sense of movement and it's even a little exciting. Unfortunately, it takes the whole shonen philosophy of "let's overexplain every power, move, and strategy" to new heights. At a certain point, I get a little lost because it's just bogging every fight down with details. The anime helps alleviate this problem somewhat. Still, the battles aren't my favorite in manga. Some concepts are pretty nifty, though, and the story is overall good. There are some really fun twists and turns that make it an engaging read. Character-wise, I'm torn. I think the main characters are a little undercooked-albeit pretty likable and cool-but the supporting cast really outshines them."
@@NINJAMUSHI Well that's good, I'll make sure to check it out. I didn't want to argue with someone who probably didn't care much but to me, JJK just does so much well on a technical level. Aside from power system (which is a pretty big thing to brush aside because CE forms the basis of the entire narrative lmfao) I don't really think it does anything at a top top tier level like Berserk with protag/main antag/art or HxH with its cast/narrative/symbolic depth for example, but it just does everything well and it makes it so enjoyable for me. And the more that I think about it on a technical and symbolic level, the more I love it.
@@aahhhhhhhhhhhhh I kinda flip flop between an 8 and a 7. I think, in general, the video I did on DS and CSM burned me out from both series just a tad.
As my taste on manga, I liked all of your takes on these series as myself a big fan of Araki n Fujimoto like yours n as you mentioned jjk is like 6 I can take it for granted
It's crazy how diverse Fujimoto is as an author and yet EVERYTHING he's written since Niwa ni wa niwa niwatori ga ita is insteresting in some way. Fujimoto has been on a KILLING SPREE ever since Fire Punch though, he really found himself as an author in that work and has been using his talent and potential to the fullest till today. Easily my favourite author of all time.
Too bad you didn't care to read Kare Kano entirely. Though I'd also say that I enjoy the anime portion of the story more, the story it told beyond what was covered in the anime is great as well. It's a shame it most likely will never get a full adaptation. That story certainly deserved the Fruits Basket treatment.
I'll at least give you a quick rundown of those: I read the first volume of the Climber and thought it was an outstanding introduction. Just didn't include it because I read so little of it. Vagabond I'm saving for a special occasion. I've wanted to read it for a decade, but I'm in no rush. I read a tiny bit of Blue Lock since this video and wanna read more. I watched the anime of Tomodachi Game and thought it was hilariously bad. I know fans say it was just a bad adaptation, so I won't judge the manga until I read it but I mean, I dunno... I thought a lot of it was bad by principle, and it's written by the Dead Tube author, which doesn't give me much hope. Still, I'll give it a fair shot sometime, and if nothing else, I'm sure it'll be funny lol. I own most of Vinland Saga and read the first volume. Much like Vagabond, I'm saving it for a special occasion. I mean, I just like to savor the things I know I'll really like, ya know? But yeah, thanks for watching the video ✌️
The first episode is an awful introduction to many characters/concepts, a lot of details from the manga are lost, Hughes has barely any screen time, and some plot points are entirely removed, then awkwardly put back in. Say what you will about 2003 but, minus a few anime original episodes, its first 25 episodes are so, so much better than Brotherhood's first season.
Great now do the same but with Manhwa and then join the rabbit hole of redundancy as you follow us down the path of Chinese Manhua(particularly XianXia)
I mentioned it in other comments, but I left out Bleach because I only read parts of it in addition to watching the anime. That said, Soul Society is leagues above the other arcs imo
Go watch my video on it if you really wanna know or, ya know, go read it. It's my favorite manga, with Berserk being #2 ruclips.net/video/P1ZhSduhhL0/видео.html
Didn't feel like adding it because I've only read sections of it, in addition to watching the anime. Probably would give it a 6/10 though. Soul Society is goated, everything else is alright
I've actually only watched it so far, though I own the manga. Gotta read it at some point. I know the manga is supposed to be paced better but the anime's atmosphere is a fair trade imo
Bruh where is bleach and where is todomachi game and where is the best manga *Vagabond* bruh you been trippin, missing all great manga can you rate them?
Bleach. Watched most of the anime, read parts of the manga. Didn't include it because of that. 6/10. I do love Soul Society though. Todomachi Game. Only watched the anime, which was dogshit. I know it could be just a bad adaptation but I also know it's written by the Dead Tube mangaka, so that has me very worried and even more excited. 3/10 for the anime. Vagabond. The art is banging enough for a 10/10
@@NINJAMUSHI Brooooooooo no fkingg wayy the anime is beyond dogshit (2/10) but hell nah, the manga is masterpiece at least 8.5/10 just go and read it please 😭😭
@@NINJAMUSHI Tomodachi Game is a fairly long running series that inspired Squid Game. I definitely don't think the anime does it justice. It's not perfect, but the highs of the series is good enough that I can forgive a lot of the lows. (Though I might just be biased because I like the main theme a lot).
@@antk8493ver since the anime came out and only covered first third of the story, some people have been throwing shade st CSM, assuming that it's nothing but a horny gore fest that has nothing interesting to say.

I originally made this list without the timestamps, but then I saw your list and even I thought, "This is a better way." 😅
Thanks for putting in the effort for noting down all the timestamps ✌

@@KindlingEffect ah i see
This was a brave video. Putting all of your manga opinions in one video. Good luck and I hope you're protected from Twitter
If that ain't the truth, I don't know what is lmaooo
I love how you can’t really rate berserk, everyone knows berserk is a 10/10 but it seems illegal saying it’s a 10/10
ye
Berserk is synonymous with 10/10
its like 9.5
@@userlily_ yeah it's like 9.5×infinity
@@adi-qx8lsNo its a 9,Black Swordman arc and Fantasia arc were kinda mid compared to the rest.
Thank you, I shall. :) I'm pretty happy where I am now (it took nearly a decade to get to 1000 subs) but I'd love to continue growing the channel
this
Love to see you trying new things, hope you reach a new audience🙏🏿
Thank you! Yup, that's the hope!
Its crazy how similar my taste is to yours, I didnt expect someone to have the same opinions as me about junji ito. I think you should try reading golden kamuy, you might like it
Just found your channel and you legit sound like LsMark (Banger bid BTW)
First time I've heard that, haha. Thank you!
Glad you like Dorohedoro as well. One of the best manga art I've seen, super detailed, brutal, funny characters as well as a strange atmosphere conveyed in its world building.
Finally the kind of video that I wanted to see. Might as well recommend some. Imawa no Kuni no Arisu / Alice in Borderland, The Horizon, My Dearest Self with Malice Aforethought, Sweet Home, Tsui no Taimashi
hey, you've really decent taste. Anyway, have you read *The Promised Neverland* or *Made in Abyss* ?
Hey wsp where do you read ur manga btw?
You just declared war on the toxic cesspool that anitwt. I hope you survive
You havent read trigun or zatch bell?
Fun video. Hope you do stuff like this again. 8/10. Lol
glad you liked it! I'll see what I do in the future, depends on how people feel about it
This feels like a super controversial list yet its gotta be my fav ranking list of manga thus far. U deserve the best head.
that's a first lmao. glad you enjoyed the list
To be honest, I really don't remember it at all. It's been 7 years since I read it lmao
I have been watching your vid for like 2h man and i love you content and recommendations.
You just gotta new sub
Glad you enjoyed it!!
@@NINJAMUSHIYou are amazing at expressing yourself and your opinions. I whole-heartedly resonate with you on your opinion of CSM.
Have you read Vinland Saga? I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on it!
I'm glad you were able to get something out of it :)
If you want a romance where the main characters don't just dither for 20 volumes, read Paradise Kiss. Ai Yazawa's art is awesome
What you said about battle tendency made my cry 😭😭😭
starting off the video with 20th century boys with a 8/10 is such a ballsy move that it made me love this video even though i dont agree
Started reading Dandandan because of this vid and I’m hooked. Thank you!!
Awesome! Super glad you're enjoying yourself
I totally agree with your opinion of DeadTube. If the series ended with the protagonist's dad's arc and then the protagonist committing "self-anti-living" it would've been one of the best endings in fiction
Yeah, I kinda fell off after that reveal and haven't went back. It should've ended there for sure.
Tougen Oni, V.S Evil, and Ender Geister
Those are hidden gems (imo) and needs to get more attention
Need you to read billy bat, its my favourite out of all urasawa works
You should try reading gakkou gurashi, it's good and short (around 70 chapters, it gets amazing at the end and also has an anime, but I recommend reading instead since the anime drags out things)
You can also read " I am hero" but I doubt you would really like it since its a bit weird
eden it's an endless world
actually got hooked on this one
Think You forgot Monster and Uzumaki. And have You read Your lie in April and march comes in like a lion?
You gotta read my dearest self with malice aforethought, it’s one of my favorite psychological manga
Love love love love love videos like this I love seeing everyones lists
I'm glad! Hope you enjoyed it :)
Pretty good rating of manga ngl I like this also love the respect u gave fma03 have a great day🔥🔥
FMA 2003 is still one of my favorites, even if it's rough around the edges. It just has a lot of interesting things to say
@@NINJAMUSHI agreed tbh I don't think it has any big flaws the ending of the series makes sense if u view it thematically but the only flaws I do see is cyborg Archer, that 4th episode, some characters not being as developed like hohenheim and Bradley and we got that movie which ain't all that good 💀but fma03 is more of a character study on the main cast less on the side cast but still I prefer more 03 shit solid -10/10 for me but both versions are great
now that I watched the whole video, I forgot which ones you scored high and that I wanna check out.. so I guess I'll just go to your anilist then LOL
Really enjoyable video though! I'd like to see more videos like this, while also continuing the scripted and thought out stuff. Keep it up!
My scores are slightly different on anilist (need to update them) but it should be roughly the same! Thank for you the encouragement, though. I certainly shall. :)
wow thanks, got a couple for my reading list
if anyone interested in more stuff:
"Asper Girl" heavy stuff but idk good
"Chikan Otoko" absolute staple of a relationship manga out there, just throw away all your previous knowledge about romance manga for this one
"From now on we begin Ethics" reaaaaaaaaal good, episodic phylosophy manga, each chapter is like a separate lesson from teacher to each individual student
"Isekai Ojisan" i loooooooove it, chapters are like monthly issue but holy smokes it is worth the wait, just strange ojisan in another world and all his comrades dealing with his hit yeah
"Skill of Lure" manhua, more on the silly side, very funny for me, goes on about character growth in romance
peace XD
Asper Girl is incredible. Such an overlooked series
you should read Nausicaa, the movie came out in 1984 and only adapts 2 volumes, the manga is 7 volumes long
Plan to read it some day but in no rush; I'm not exactly a fan of Miyazaki/Ghibli, outside of the art and animation direction
How would you rate MHA now that you caught up and Oshi no ko depending if you read it?
Not caught up with MHA and haven't read Oshi no ko
No Yotsuba! That was a shock after seeing some deep cuts on this list. I'd give your list a hard 0 for that, but you have good taste otherwise, so 8/10
One Piece a 10, and OPM Manga a 10. I agree
I really would love to hear your thoughts on Onani Master Kurosawa
I've always been interested in reading it but haven't gotten to it yet
It's hilarious how you put ookii onnanoko wa suki desu ka together with steel ball run, hxh, and jujutsu in the thumbnail
It's a secret contender for best manga of all time
Are you up to date on Kaguya?
@@NINJAMUSHI The anime is better :P
Eh, I thought it was roughly the same with maybe a slight edge to the anime because of presentation (only seen season 1). But at this point in my life, an anime needs to be a lot better than the adaptation for me to watch it over reading the manga
@@aussieboy4279 Horimiya is one of my all time favs. Wonderful characters that actually feel like real people
Apparently, Cutie Honey wasn’t that influential.
Hearing the Stone Ocean disrespect hurt my soul (best part before the reboot)
Not even disrespect. I still love it, just have way more problems with it than 4 and 5 (meh cast, bad fights, lame setting, etc)
Pretty true. Dragons dream and some of the outfits (lang wrangler and rikiel) were mid/bad. I still really love Stone Ocean and consider it my favorite of the first 6.
(Minor Spoiler of CSM)
I love chainsawman, but can somebody tell me why Angel didn't regenerate his arms?
He can't regenerate
@@nameless_1 he's a devil, all devil regenerate when they drink blood

your boy has returned
Babe, wake up! New NinjaMushi Video!!!
👀
I love that you use Rokuro as your character.
Thanks! It's kinda funny because, in my personal life, my girlfriend actually uses Rokuro a lot as her pfp. So, when I decided to use him for my RUclips it felt like I stole him away from her just a little. Worth it though, because Rokuro is the best haha
@@NINJAMUSHI agreed I love him and Beni
Finally somebody else that understands the masterpiece that is twin star exorcists 🤝
The best part is that I've only continued to love it more since this video!
This video is monumental
Hm ... think you need to reread JJK through a more critical lens.
To quote my note on AniList:
"I'm trying my best to understand the appeal of Jujutsu Kaisen.
@@NINJAMUSHI Put my opinions about JJK into words, thought I was the only one that found it overrated.
well, only a month later and I made a video about me being wrong lmao 🤡
Fuckkkk i was on a 15 streak of predicting your ratings
Which one ruined the streak? Lmao
@@NINJAMUSHI Demon slayer (personally in my top 5 favorite mangas) Pretty fair ratings though.
@@aahhhhhhhhhhhhh I kinda flip flop between an 8 and a 7. I think, in general, the video I did on DS and CSM burned me out from both series just a tad.
Have you ever read usogui? It's a gambling manga which is highly snubbed
I enjoy your videos and I hope that we can become good, good acquaintances.
Uhhhh
As my taste on manga, I liked all of your takes on these series as myself a big fan of Araki n Fujimoto like yours n as you mentioned jjk is like 6 I can take it for granted
I must admit you have good taste in manga
well thank you haha
Sus title, but nice video, not many find the time and effort to do something like this
Gotta mrbeast a title like this to get people interested lmaooo. But thank you!
Expected Tatsuki Fujimoto W I didn’t even watch the rest I just needed to confirm my extreme bias for Fujimoto. Good video 👍
Do you have Vinland saga on your list?
I own all the manga and I've been super excited to read it for 7 or 8 years now... and I still haven't read it lol
honestly what would you rate berserk?
Berserk is synonymous with a 10/10
@@NINJAMUSHI now that is berserking
What was the manga in the background
Twin Star Exorcists, one of my personal favs~
im liking this video just because your take on kaguya sama was so fucking based
Good reviews just wish youd have at least slipped in a quick plot synopsis. I hate having to look stuff up. But hey ya tried
this was pretty much only meant to be entertaining, not serious reviews. and adding more only would've made this video extra long haha
"Go Nagai makes important things , but he doe not make good things" Truth.
Wow this is a video worthy of respect😊
Haha, well thank you!
BERSERK SWEEP
Too bad you didn't care to read Kare Kano entirely. Though I'd also say that I enjoy the anime portion of the story more, the story it told beyond what was covered in the anime is great as well. It's a shame it most likely will never get a full adaptation. That story certainly deserved the Fruits Basket treatment.
I absolutely plan to finish it sometime. I'm sure it's great!
You should read Alice in Borderland and Liar Game, both great death game genre manga
Bro you should read tomodachi game you won't regret it yuuichi is seriously one of the most entertaining mcs I've ever seen
I've seen the anime and thought it sucked but I'm aware it's probably just a bad adaptation. I imagine the manga will at least be fun lolol
@@NINJAMUSHI yea the anime kinda suck they didn't do his face expressions justice I wish OLM would animate s2 if possible
I am going to be reading 90% of this stuff lmaoo
I hope you enjoy haha
i thought Monster was pretty boring, maybe ill start reading it again
That's fair, it's very much a slow burn character drama
Just waiting for that one guy to timestamp the video.
I timestamped the alphabet but someone else would have to put up with timestamping every title lol
Kokou no hiko
Vagabond
Blue lock
Tomodachi game
Vinland Saga
A little sad those weren't there but overral very good ratings.
I'll at least give you a quick rundown of those:
I read the first volume of the Climber and thought it was an outstanding introduction.
But yeah, thanks for watching the video ✌️
one manga you didn't mention that i absolutely love is akira. probably my favorite manga ever
I have the 35th anniversary box set and really wanna read it sometime. The movie isn't perfect but mannn it still slaps.
How is the first season of fma brotherhood horrible?🤨
The first episode is an awful introduction to many characters/concepts, a lot of details from the manga are lost, Hughes has barely any screen time, and some plot points are entirely removed, then awkwardly put back in. Say what you will about 2003 but, minus a few anime original episodes, its first 25 episodes are so, so much better than Brotherhood's first season.
you know, wouldn't it be funny if you put JK and DS's numbers on the thumbnail?
I did have JJK on the thumbnail for awhile but changed the thumbnail just to see if it would help the video
@@NINJAMUSHI I do think my suggestion would "help" the video pretty well, if we're talking about views
Great now do the same but with Manhwa and then join the rabbit hole of redundancy as you follow us down the path of Chinese Manhua(particularly XianXia)
Given enough time, Ayashimon would have been great. Unfortunately, it got axed.
I really wish it had more time, yeah
Unless it’s just me having a seizure, Bleach? And what was your favourite arc?
I mentioned it in other comments, but I left out Bleach because I only read parts of it in addition to watching the anime. That said, Soul Society is leagues above the other arcs imo
@@NINJAMUSHI damn i always thought the bleach manga was better than the anime. couldnt really get into the anime but i rlly enjoyed the manga

Jisatsu Circle is a classic. I liked it a lot.

@@NINJAMUSHI I mean. I know it is not for everyone one. But I do think everyone should try it out. It is very short anyways.

Didn't feel like adding it because I've only read sections of it, in addition to watching the anime. Probably would give it a 6/10 though. Soul Society is goated, everything else is alright
💀
Lol
lmfaoooooo
I think you forgot to talk about Monster bro.
I've actually only watched it so far, though I own the manga. Gotta read it at some point. I know the manga is supposed to be paced better but the anime's atmosphere is a fair trade imo
@@NINJAMUSHI Fair enough. You should definitely read it when you get the time though.

Haven't read it. First season was great and uh, you know the rest
Bruh where is bleach
and where is todomachi game

bruh you been trippin, missing all great manga
can you rate them?
Vagabond. The art is banging enough for a 10/10
@@NINJAMUSHI Brooooooooo no fkingg wayy
the anime is beyond dogshit (2/10)
but hell nah, the manga is masterpiece at least 8.5/10

@@NINJAMUSHI Tomodachi Game is a fairly long running series that inspired Squid Game. I definitely don't think the anime does it justice. It's not perfect, but the highs of the series is good enough that I can forgive a lot of the lows. (Though I might just be biased because I like the main theme a lot).
