Imagine if Frosmoth was a Physical version of Volcarona.
(Edit): When I mean physical version, I'm referring to Frosmoth getting the same stats as Volcarona but special stats are swapped with the physical stats.

poopikins Being Ice and Bug, It’s weak to pretty much everything under the sun :(
@@poopikins it has access to quiver dance, but base 65 speed more or less makes that useless. But its hidden ability Ice Scales halves damage from special moves, so with Aurora Veil (and maybe Trick Room) setup, that 135 Sp. Atk could be nasty.

I will ABSOLUTELY use volcarona any chance I get, my reason is that I (almost) beat Pokemon black with only volcarona, and quite easily, i needed reshiram's help against N and later ghetsis, but HOLY SCHEISSE did volcarona nearly destroy all of unova!!! And only at about level 70-75(or, at least, that's the level i hit when I finished the game lol, technically, volcarona was overlevelled most of the game because it was an experience vacuum that was the only one getting experience)!!!

I ran Volcarona with Excadrill in sword and shield recently and it worked out pretty well. Definitely the best bug pokemon.

I think that terrakion is better 'cuz well, in my case, my terrakion have a higher attack and speed base, and the Def and sp.def is balance and cobalion only have a higher Def but it sp.def is lower but is just my point of view :)
I think Cobalion is better in this game bc it gets access to max airstream and is a steel type

Doing a mono type playthrough if sword currently with bug types. My goal is to create a competitively viable bug team. Just evolved larvesta with perfect IVs and currently EV training. The moveset is Quiver dance, fiery dance, bug buzz, and giga Drain. Also have a legit shiny frosmoth with perfect IVs with Ice beam, Quiver dance, Bug Buzz, and Fazzling Gleam.

Volcarona is such a fun and competitive Pokémon to play as, especially when I use it towards the Battle Maison from XY/ORAS and the Battle Tree in SM.😊
To those wondering on what Volcarona I play with, it is with leftovers, set with 252 sp. Atk, 252 sp. Def, 4 Speed, and 20 HP as it's EVs with a calm nature.
I am surprised that Volcarona didn't get nerfed in Pokémon Sw&Sh due to how insanely powerful it is with its high sp. Atk, sp. Def, and speed. 😳 I think Gamefreak must do something about this lol.
