Also, a question: Why does it take longer for some things to cool? Different metals, different temperatures, some were put in longer. . .. ? I noticed in this video that the same piece of metal took a long time to cool down, then a different time it wasn't very long at all.
+Megan Mercer Can you give me an example? The cooling down usually has to do with the thickness of the metal, like when it's thin it'll cool down very quickly, but when it is thicker, or doubled up like when the handle was twisted, it takes longer to cool. Also, the anvil sucks the heat out of the metal, because it is such a large piece of steel itself, so items cool down faster when they are set on the anvil than when they are just air-cooled.
