    You have me curious now, going to have to go home tonight and look this up in my Euphorbia journals. I don't recognize this one, on a mission now ! Maybe it needs to be under one of your new lights. One thing I have discovered about euphorbia is when one gets any rot, have to hope it didn't travel through the plant. Because of a larger vascular system the rot can travel fast! I'll be looking this plant up, if I find it I will let you know! From Morris park in the Ozarks to across the Emerald isle, have a great evening!!!!

    I just had to operate on my dragon fruit cactus. I hate having to chop pieces off but I love how they branch out from the area when they grow, creating a fuller plant.

      Oh no I so sorry to read that you had to operate on your dragon fruit cactus but I bet it will go on to make a full recovery :-D but yes its amazing when they branch out again and recover, and it adds a special character to their appearance too

    You may wish to try placing bubble wrap on you lower Windows that plants can touch and damage your plants just a wide strip. Plant height

    I wish I saw this video a week ago. I lost my euphorbia ghost a week ago. I guess it got too cold inside the house and fell apart. It sucks. It was also expensive at around 100 dollars or 10000 yen

    That is a beautiful plant...it is a pity that it had rotted! Hans has done a good job chopping the damaged part off! Do you put anything on the cut area for healing Lyn? Hope it recovered! Enjoy your evening Lyn and Hans! Sending you both lots of love and happiness!!!

    Awww I'm commenting right at start. I lost my white ghost euphorbia. Tried so hard to save her. Am now dithering over whether I should order again... Mine came with damage already at tip. Plus a 'bruise' at base. I'm very reluctant to buy online again. It's just so sad when loved plants don't make it. 😳

    How interesting Lyn, though sad for your very special Euphorbia, to see what cold damage looks like on a succulent. Funny you mention Euphorbia Trigona, I was just thinking of that during your video. Mine was in a room with less heat, quite close to a colder but sunny window. It was okay but didn't look happy and I moved it 2 months ago to a space next to a radiator, thinking I should keep an eye on it since it might be way too hot there. But it looks soooo happy now haha even though it's winter. My rubber plant also tolerates the hot spot next to the radiator so now he has company. I hope your cool plant goes on to thrive now!

    • @desertplantsofavalon
      @desertplantsofavalon  4 года назад

      Thanks a million Nathalie for all your wonderful comments, and so happy that your Euphorbia trigona is doing great now next to the warmer spot by the radiator, these Euphorbias defintiely seem to like the heat in Winter, I will be keeping my fingers crossed for this one too
