My 11 year old is a FARM GIRL... Thanks for keeping this appropriate for her, and by the way your dads make EXCELLENT background for us dads watching with our girls. It kinda completes the circle for us dads, yet makes it so fun for our girls.
Great to see young woman enjoy the the work they have choosen as a career. keep up the good work and remember if you enjoy what your are doing you will never work a day in your life!
I'm so impressed with hard working young people that represent the best of what it means to be American. I'm so glad I stumbled across these channels as it introduces me to the industry that literally feeds our nation. So much to see and learn. I'm so glad you gals are making these videos. The represent what the original creators of RUclips envisioned and introduces us Americans to a life and profession completely foreign yet so absolutely vital to so many of us.
Claudia is selling herself short. That family has a very diverse operation from retail to farming. They have a store, bakery, sell a large variety of produce, petting zoo of farms animals, etc. And to add all the milking they do plus field crops!?! That is one busy as hell family. They just had a new bakery store built for this season. You can see shots of it from their vids. Both of you girls are amazing, especially wanting to keep the family farm running. I always support my local farmers here in New England buying their produce.
Wow finally a colab with my two favorite farmers, good to see that field corn hit the auger wagon, hopefully it grades good and prices creep up, so you can get your paperwork done to keep up the good work! Congratulations on the harvest
It’s great to see farm girls from different parts of the country getting together and enjoying their time together. Comparing their different styles of farming and crops . Hopefully more farm girls will get together like this, so interesting!
Nice to hear from upstate New York. I lived on Plattsburgh Air Force Base when I was a kid and what I remember is a very beautiful area with apple orchards and dairy farms. And cold. A lot of cold. Very very cold. I hope to get back up that way sometime to look around. Like in the summer. Like the middle of summer. You have my respect for farming in those conditions.
Mike, the E-140 pic was great! Best time of year for us in Upstate NY right now as we transition from summer to winter. The snow and cold is not bad and it is only temporary! Claudia and her sisters are only 30 minutes from our shop. It’s a small world.
@@cazgearllc I'm mostly kidding about the weather and I know the Fall is something to see. 3 of my siblings that were born right there in Plattsburgh. Thanks for the decals! I thought the color scheme went perfect with the John Deere. She posted the ones on the back but the larger ones are on the sides of the engine cowl.
I follow you both and thought the videos would be the same. I just happened to watch hers first so I came to your channel to hit the like button and found it fun to see the videos from two perspectives. Smile overload from you girls, love it.
The collab we’ve all been waiting for. Very cool to finally see you two together. Claudia has definitely been making some road trips. Glad that you’re finally harvesting.
A couple of years ago I took a trip and tours of mid west farms. I came away with the horrified impression that there were virtually no young people taking over the farms. The population was very aged. Your young faces are great to see. Keep it up, as it is an essential and honorable profession.
nice job with the combine breakdown...looked like more than a dropped rotor shaft bearing to me ?...be nice to see the combine factory there also sometime..? im happy for the coming winter also. Thank you Laura Farms for the fun vid..Love Kelly ..!
thanks for getting together...knew you two would hit it off as both of you are daughters of hard working farmers and will continue on the legacy of feeding America
I like watching your videos because it is nice to see real people doing real work. I grew up in farm country and always wanted to be a farmer but I had to settle for being married to a dairy farmers daughter from Illinois. I do woodworking but I have three tractors and restore antique farm machinery to show at the Great Oregon Steam up so I sort of feel like I am a farmer.
I’m so excited that you got to harvest your field! It feels like only yesterday when I saw an ag video hit #1 on youtube trending. You have come so far in your first year farming! I’m glad to have gotten to see the journey from planting to harvesting!
So cool that you two met in Nebraska. I've watched Claudia probably six/nine more months than Laura and I think your both trailblazers with farmibg/U-tube and college. Good luck to both moving forward
Claudia! I've watched you on your channel, an sommes, an now laura's channel's!, and love Andy's channel, great work for your own channel, I support you!, And Laura's channel you to are solid, for sure, harvest is winding down in northwest ohio, Top notch year for yields an moisture!
I just now realized you are near Aurora on Hwy 34. We drive right by where you are farming end of June on the way to the 4H shooting sports tournament in Grand island every year ('cept this year, covid) I reckon that's how you got into my suggested list, I keep track of what's happening in Grand Island. Thought I recognized the scenery. Fascinating how different farming is in Nebraska compared to Henderson county apples and dairy in NC, I learned to drive on an old Allis tractor pulling a tobacco sled during priming,. It would just about fit inside the cab of your tractor.
We hope to have Laura and her dad join us for the Empire Farm Days next August 3-5 in Pompey, NY where we will be one of the exhibitors. Who knows, maybe @Laura Farms and @LEAAD will do a collaboration with @NY Farm Girls at that time.
@@nyfarmgirls1707 aren't you excited that Empire Farm Days is like literally down the road from both our locations?! It is going to be a completely different vibe this year. Great job on the collab with Laura!
wow my two favourite you tubers came together to make a video together so happy and thank you Laura and Claudia for making this video and keep up the great work girls
These two are adorable to watch😄 I got better things to do and Im a guy who wants to see different aspects of it and I STILL love to watch. Love to hear their chitter chatter and the hair flips 😄 almost makes me want to make videos of our farm. Maybe Laura could hop down to kansas and take a tour 😄 we dont use auto steer planting either.😝
I've been to Manhattan, New York last November and loved it... But hearing the Nebraska is much more friendly makes me want to visit Nebraska someday :-D Was great to see you 2 together in this video! Out of interest.... When your field is harvested. How does your winter looks like? Do you wait until spring or do you do other stuff on the farm? :-)

What a fascinating life! I really like the videos, and you explain the machinery and operation of them very thoroughly. Really wondering what happened to the 6x6 military truck.
I have to admit. The fields in Nebraska are huge in comparison to the fields in Europe... I think 10-15 acres is normal in Belgium... It's densely populated and fields are pretty much spread out so... And prices for farmground are way up!
I can relate to comparing farms, I grew up in eastern Iowa where farm sizes are more comparable to those in upstate NY. I moved to Kansas and the farms here are more comparable to those in Nebraska.
Farming now is so much less physically demanding than it was when I was on the farm in the 1950's and 1960's. I liked it when the NY Farmgirl said only 12 row equipment. When we used 3, 4, 5 row and a sandfighter that was 9 row!
I’m from Kansas, about 40 miles from the boarder of Nebraska, and I’ve never heard of Denny’s until I was traveling through Nebraska, it’s kinda like a ihop here in Kansas, 😂😂
I buy a lot of tools etc. From northern tool in Minnesota. The prices may be four times more in Los Angeles., Plus free shipping and the stuff is shiped free. In Whittier there was a 30 acre strawberry farm and roadrunner birds were around the road with a fan on there head. Hence the college across the street were called the roadrunners, there once was a roadrunner car in the sixties.
we drove through Upstate New York in August making the rounds of colleges in the northeast & it was beautiful - reminded me of my own Upstate Alabam, except with snowmobile signs
American Farming is so Cool just how Vast this Industry is.. not so Cool in Britain but Hey America is Huge! so the Farming is on a Huge Scale.. Fascinating Stuff
"No gravel roads in NY" = some of the highest property taxes in the country in NY; you get what you pay for, and we NY'ers pay a lot!!! But Claudia's a central NY Farm girl; when you get up into the Adirondack mountain region of northern NY, lots of dirt/gravel roads there.
Interesting to hear about field sizes in 🇺🇸 . Here in 🇬🇧 they are much smaller. I own an old Fordson Super Major [Ford] and I plough with it just for fun. You can see the field sizes in my really amateurish videos! Please keep your great content coming.
Really appreciated the hair flipping competition. How about a tractor tug-o-war and some off roading when you next collaborate. You're soooo lucky being able to concentrate on work and weddings instead of Covid and politics.
Hey Laura. You should post a video of Claudia's reactions or stories of what she thinks of Nebraskan food chains like Runza/Casey's/Valentino's. As well as Husker football. GBR! And keep up the awesome videos.
Being a New York State Native, I can tell ya that New York State started doing away with dirt roads and started chipping and taring the dirt roads in 1999, which New York State is still doing in parts of Western New York, such as the southern tier of New York (Chautauqua, Cattaraugus and Allegany Counties) which is nearing completion.
Claudia lives in my neck of the country. I use to work in Tonawanda, NY. I now live on the Canadian side in Ontario. Closest to the Lewiston border crossing.
