I decided on a 330e over a Model 3 and I don't regret it. I love hearing the engine on Xtraboost mode and the handling doesn't compare. But I do wish I had more electric range and lower cost of maintenance/gas.
I agree regarding the range. I had reserved the 330e but it was niggling me that electric was only around 30 miles so cancelled and ordered the model 3. The BMW was an amazing car to drive though and looks fantastic
So happy I’m getting rid of my model 3 and the 330e is on the way. Tesla is only nice during the hype period (1.5 years for me) then you start to notice how bad everything actually is.
Trust me on this my dad has one and he’s had it remapped if you have a DMS Automotive near you go it’s amazing he’s gone from 292 HP and 320torque to 440Bhp and 750Torque worth the upgrade it’s now mega fast
Well the BMW is more than 10k expensive and you're still paying for gas + road tax so.. model 3 seems like the wisest decision if you want to get the most bang for your buck. I only wish it had a built in heads up display.
A BMW 330e is $42k. The Model 3 in this video is north of $62k. So, the BMW is far less expensive. I have a 2022 330e, will be receiving the US tax credit, and havent filled the tank, or even looked at the gas meter in over 3 months.
@@ChrisKeblitis Prices differ per country. This video was shot in West Europe (where I'm also from). The 330e starts at €52k. If you add a few options to get it somewhat like the M3 Performance, the price shoots up. Full electric cars pay no road tax here, fossil fuel and hybrids do. Gas also costs about $8 per gallon here, which is a huge difference compared to the US. Personally I'd go for the Long Range and not Performance. It's not worth the extra money to go for Performance.
@@BlazingsNL A more fair comparison would be the Model 3 and an M3, speed wise, they are both about 3.5 sec (0-60mph) cars. I never tested my car before today, mainly because this video claims its 5.9 seconds. The BMW dealership claimed the 330 has a 0-60 speed of 5.0 sec. So, I figured Id do my own test. On my first try I got 4.96 seconds. Granted, it's not 3.3, like the performance model 3, but... the the 330e is a bit faster than the base Model 3. ruclips.net/video/s4XziPZp1WQ/видео.html
BMW! A proper car. Tesla build quality interior in not a fan. BMW is well established they know from experience. Tesla is still new kid on the block. A lot to learn.
Who needs aggresive design though? What mental condition makes you want to drive a car with aggresive design? I see a BMW and I know the guy behind the wheel probably needs a psychiatrist. Tesla is for nice people.
Which one of these 2 do you prefer?
Bmw
BMW

2018 Bmw 330E all the way.The last of the proper beemers later model is utter garbage
How much do you end up paying for maintenance ??
@@sakethvomminavenkata9918 I'm still within the free maintenance period for the BMW! So nothing just yet lol
No commentary? I think I prefer teh BMW slightly, but it feels a bit cramped, but definitely better built. With that said going all in EV is enticing.
Definitely BMW 330e
BMW definitely

Doing the same, just about to trade in my 3 LR. My commute should be fully covered by the 330e.

The 0-60 (0-100kmh) has gone from 5.9 to 3.6 I think so big change DMS is in UK

i mean.. the bmw clearly looks better, interior and exterior, but the speed, the price, the running cost... tesla definitely wins
The Tesla is an absolute rocket ship 🚀🚀🚀🚀
I have BMW 330E, but prefer Tesla Model 3 performance or long range. I have driven both of them and they outperform the BMW in any dimension.
I’m deciding which car to get it would be the 2023 models, any options?
BMW all day over Tesla

Bmw 25-100
why did you do that
There is no ICE car which can be compared with Tesla. I have driven Tesla M3 performance. After that all ICE cars looks crap.
Yes there's no ICE that is as noisy as the Tesla Model 3 and the chassi is like a car from 1990. Acceleration is everything model 3 has.
Have fun waiting in line behind 20 Teslas at a supercharger needing to charge during a 1,500 mile road trip on a holiday week.
Bmw
BMW. Agressiv design, more muscular, better interiors, confort, and definitely construction. China Tesla, no.

BMW rückwärts einparken, katastrophal, sehr viel im Stand hin und her, grausig
I OWN A 2019 330E WOULD NEVER TOUCH A TESLA.. EXPENSIVE FIATS IN MY OPINION HORRIBLE
BMW. Tesla interior is soo bad...
Yes, the car looks nice. But have you seen the navigation screen? Its like Tomtom ONE from 2006..
the model 3 2021 interior has improved a lot actually.
@@Maarten_vd once you've experienced the Tesla UX and interior every other car, especially ICEs feel old and outdated
Yes but you just connect to android auto and it gives you Google maps which looks great.
@@flightnight705 I can't believe Tesla 3 has no Android auto or carplay support. And no HUD to keep driver's eyes on the road.
