Thanks for watching, and for the kind words! Yeah, I had a tough time deciding between the black and white dials, but I think this one appeals to me a bit more too.
Such a beautiful piece here, thanks for reviewing, B&B! Just lovely and the style, size and detailing seems spot on. I don't have the budget for this range, but I damn sure wish I did.🤣
Thanks for watching, and congratulations on getting the C2! It looks like a beautiful dial, and I can't wait to see people's photographs once they start to ship.
Nice review! I do love the dial on this, but too damn chunky and full on zaratsu on a case like this is just scratch magnet material. I would prefer a satin polish on the sided with the zaratsu on top like how GS does it. In fact, at the sort of price these command on the second hand market there is really no justification for choosing one over a Spring Drive or High beat GS.
Thanks for watching! I can't disagree regarding the mirror polish and scratches. I think if someone wore this as a daily watch, it would pick up scratches very quickly. And I don't have any first hand experience with Grand Seiko yet (that is what I plan to buy and review next), but based on what I've heard, yeah those seem like better options in this category, unless you're a fan of Hajime Asaoka and want his work at any cost.
@@sergezerkin Thats Steve from JTM you are talking to there mate. He probably has more kurono watches than the entire comments section put together. Knows his stuff.
@@todoroki fair enough, but I agree with Serge. You don't buy a high polished watch case if you're worried about scratches. And like most GS watches, if you do use it as a daily, it will age rapidly and without mercy 😂
Just ordered my kurono chronograph 2 with the all black and brown dial. Sold out within 2 minutes! Can’t wait to get it and put it on my wrist...
Thanks for watching, and congrats on being able to get one!
The talent as a designer of Mr. Asaoka is apparent.
Thank you for watching! Yes, I completely agree. This entire watch is a testament to his design skills.
I totally understand why this variant sold out so fast. Great review as usual!

Wow! Now that's what I call a no nonsense information packed review👍
Thank you for watching!

Thanks for watching, as always! Haha yeah, they are expensive, and cost more than I can afford to keep around too.
Very attractive chronograph! Thanks for sharing this review.
Thank you for watching!
Great dial design. Another good video!
Thanks Chaz!
Thank You Sooo Much! ive been thinking of this piece for soo long.
Thanks for watching! I'm glad this was useful to you.
Awesome video...was lucky enough to pick up the chrono 2 today before it sold out at 933am haha nuts
Same! I was panicking when the preorder button wasn’t redirecting
@@Kozun008 me too man by the time I got done with the checkout it said 237 left and then it was zero basically a minute later

That dial! Looks like a custom 1930’s suit. Great review. Thx
That is an excellent description! Thanks for watching.

Do you wind these watches with the crown in or pulled out?
Crown-in as the default position is set to wind and there isn't a screw-down crown.
@@BeansAndBezels yes, if by default you mean the crown in and not pulled out at all. So I can wind from that non pulled out position correct?
@@david.9633 Yep!
@@BeansAndBezels Thank you so much for letting me know. I just got my first Kurono and was confused.
No worries! Congrats on the new watch.
I wonder if this new block chain certificate of authentication stuff will be successful in curbing scalpers.
Yeah I read about that. Time will tell if that will be effective, but its really cool.
@@BeansAndBezels did you get the new toki watch?
Drama?
Its a long story G, will tell you over PMs.
Love it, but way too far out of the price range for me.
Thanks for watching, and for the continued support!
