Is there a mod or option to remove the boost effect? Like, not removing the use of boost, but the "effect of boost" which surrounds Sonic of blue flash because it's visually bothering. If not, it doesn't matter but still...
That was a feature from a much older version of the game that required you to collect red rings in order to play the next stage. That has long since been abolished.
Hopefully there will be, the creator hasn't updated the game since this video was uploaded though. I believe I recorded and uploaded this around the same time the current version was released. When that version gets released I will make an updated playthrough on it.
Yo man, I have been experiencing insane fps drops whenever i connect my controller or my keyboard and mouse. Ive tried them both wired and with bluetooth and they both cause crazy slowdown. Looked at the FAQ and nothing. Any ideas? This is a game from my childhood and I really want to relive it again!
Obtain all X ranks across the seven main stages in the game to unlock Hyper, to do this you have to S rank all stages as Super. You get the Chaos Emeralds by S ranking the stages normally.
Hello, do you mind recommending me the app you used to record your gameplay? The ones I’ve installed added lag to the gameplay making it unrecordable so I was wondering if there was a specific one I should use, or is there something else I need to do to cancel out the lag? Many thx.
I just used OBS, this footage is slightly lagged but it’s not significantly laggy, I do sometimes have problems with the game slowed down to a crawl and it’s a bit hard to diagnose it, it just takes a bit of fiddling to get it working just right.
Yo, I know it's kinda late, but if OBS is super laggy, I recommend using Fraps, is old, it records AVI files (which are around 3gb heavy), but it is a good option if your pc can't really handle OBS, it records at 60 fps and at a pretty high quality, and doesn't lag the game (at least for me)
I recommend playing thru the whole game to unlock everything, this run was done from a fresh file. Follow this vid as a guide if you need help 100%'ing it.
If you’ve played the previous version of this game, you can carry that SAV file over to this one to have everything unlocked. Then again, I also agree that it’s best to start a fresh to experience the game to its fullest.

It was changed, you have to obtain an S with super to get an X.

I don’t think there is. The only options are whether to use keyboard or game pad controls.
Have you ever had an issue that you can’t finish the level because of the red wall?

It's pretty difficult for me to diagnose, it must be the game itself not being optimised that well, idk
Really late, but opening the game as an administrator helped me a lot.
