Why not make original Filipino movies instead of adapting foreign (Korean movies)? Don't our own film makers, Story-Tellers have enough morale to brand their authentic ideas in film making. We are promoting their industry while our own goes down. We are becoming unwise, killing the Philippine art, industry signature.'
@@trolltrap I agree that every producer needs profit, this is business, however, it is shameful to be disdained by this korean movie industry that they think we can't produce quality movies that is why Filipino producers are adapting their movie story. I believe we have talented authors, story-tellers. We should boost story about our own culture, our own historical drama, ( original ). It is not a good trend adapting other ideas.

There are a lot of excellent singers that can do cover songs. But, as long as they do cover songs, they can't find their voice--their niche. They'll always come in second--or third rate, and always outshined by the one they copycat. Agree ako sa boosting of the story that reflects culture and history pero malaking sugal iyan sa mga producer, lalung-lalo na sa mga bootstrap financiers. Easier money, so the logic goes, if they follow the blueprint of another who's had commercial success ahead of them. Besides, you give what your target audience wants, which, unfortunately, may not be your, or a select few's, passion project.
