@@andrew33845 Thanks for the clarification! These cars could be called the ‘Fairlady’, at least in games like Assoluto Racing anyway, like the “Fairlady Z 432”.

I also struggle with that corner, but I think you can brake a little earlier and go on the throttle during the corner to get a better exit.
You can use the houses on the right as a reference.

I definitely could take that corner better. Stavelot (that corner) is a weak spot for me, I didn’t realize how bad it was!! The ghost I was racing was originally beating me at 4 other corners. I actually improved quite a lot and a one hour timeframe.

Yup… and I’ve really aggravated my neck and shoulder, so I’m not going to be improving. It’s too bad because I don’t need that much more time. However, this will get more competitive in the last 12 hours of the event.

That’s one thing I love about the AUDI QUATTRO B2: despite the slow acceleration, it just corners extremely well for a car this slow on the straights!
@mcvin-iosracing that’s a great point. I noticed the same thing. I was surprised how well it cornered. It seems like Audi has had this figured out for a long time. They’re like that in real life too! if I disengage all the assists in my Audi Q5, it can get a little bit scary around corners😅😁.
@@ME7_RR3 if you're driving in the right kerb of Eau Rouge-Radillon, you can at least feather the accelerator for a second before going full throttle. I tried that after I finished recording my WTT video, and it was satisfying.
WTTCs full of hackers, I've been playing since launch and can't get into rank A withh full upgrade cars, the only time i got close i was 1st in group B (lmp1 nismo at lemans trail)😕
I guess that EA can detect at least a few cheatters. Not just once happened to me that I was on the border of a group (let's say group D) and when the rewards were granted, i was upgraded to Group C.
I’m saying this from my perspective of a person who has got about 20 group A WTTT finishes over the past nine years.
It’s about WAY more than just having a fully upgraded car! just look at all the fully upgraded cars in group B and also in group C. A massive amount of skill is required for A. Group A in a weekly time trial represents just 0.1% of the entire group. In the regular part of the game, Group A is the top 1%. that means that the reward pool is 10 times smaller in weekly time trials.
I also used to think that it was full of hackers, but it is not. The better I got the more I realized there aren’t that many hackers. Also, I became friends with some of the best in the game. People who can still be 1.5 seconds faster than me around a track in the same car with the same upgrades.
Inversely, the best in the game can actually get into group A sometimes without even being fully upgraded. They are just that good. They have to be very close to being fully upgraded, but it’s possible.
There are definitely hackers in the game, but they are generally pretty obvious. Most people who hack lack skill. So you can tell from their horrible race lines, and also by their unrealistic speeds that they are hacking. Some people even have managed to make it so they can drive off track without any penalties, as much as they want to.
It’s just like any really competitive sport. Some people think they can put in a few months or even a years effort and be as good as the best. It doesn’t work that way. Just look at any sport like basketball, hockey, or car racing and so on. Those people have dedicated thousands of hours to rise above the rest.
@GugaRamone That’s good to hear. The 24 hour delay rewards was for that reason. It proved to be too difficult to keep hackers out. Someone would place a time in the last few minutes and then get their reward. This way they can at least pick off the more obvious hackers.
What I really hate about the whole thing is why they even do it?? If they’ve hacked the game, they’ve already got unlimited currency. They have no need to win this event. I don’t know what someone gets out of winning an event when it was blatant cheating. Anyway, at least they’re trying to get rid of the hackers.

Getting on the gas earlier (and maybe widening trajectory a bit) is key there.
@@ryancampbell5246 it's all about getting that early apex. it's fine to roll the speed by coasting in these slower cars because for some reason the gear you're in makes a big difference. you can see ME only lost a little in the first bit but was way down by the time he got to the chicane
@LamboCoin_Cars whenever I got to the gas earlier, I ended up off track. Must be a trajectory issue. Originally I was behind on about four corners. We’ll see if I can still improve. That type of intense and precise racing really wears out my neck and shoulder😅. It’s pretty tight so I’ll have to lay off.

It’s definitely WAY slower. With no upgrades, I barely got a group F time. I won’t be doing a video. I really irritated my shoulder and neck setting the Audi time.

@@ME7_RR3 it’s outdated tho. I don’t have many cars I’m just tryna find a good well paying race for the ones I have. I’ve done the McLaren generations Le Mans race, the Porsche 918 one forgot the name of the series and the one for the 2015 endurance

Based on what I know, these are still the best paying races. Newer races don’t pay as much. Old races had a different pay structure. In fact, newer Le Mans races often pay half as much fame per lap versus these old ones.
The only other way to figure this out is to go through that website series by series. For any car that’s came out in the last four years you just have to look at the exclusive series to find the best paying races. That’s the only place that’s worth looking. Don’t waste your time looking at any of the seasons series. They pay the worst. Bonus series also also pay horrible. Exclusive series are their highest paying, regular series are next. But any regular series in the last four or so years don’t pay as good as the OG days.

Yes, they seem to be having some issues setting the bonnet cam properly lately. It’s been reported so hopefully we see some improvements soon.
