After 30 days I bought another one. Love this bike. Ones all blinged out and the others stock. Best RC I bought this year and that includes the SBR 2.0, DBXL-E 2.0, UDR, Raptor etc etc
Thanks for sharing. I appreciate your opinion on the Losi MC. Real dirt bike plastics scratch easily too. I’ve torn so many jerseys as well. It’s all part of the fun.
I guess I.said it wrong I was trying to point out what others were complaining about because I said if you dont want scratches this is not for you it's going to happen. I saw people are making elbow pads now lol. I will get a new jersey when it gets that bad. Thanks for watching and the comment
To say that it's not durable because of clothes tearing of scratches on graphics and the plastics is not the right use of the word . Let me explain I raced dirt bikes in motocross from 1972 to 1983 and still have dirt bikes today, I'm 65 now . And all my race bikes were extremely durable and dependable. But all of them were only Unscratched the day I bought them . Or after replacing plastics and graphics. Because you can't crash a dirt bike and pick it up in better condition before you fell . Lol 😆 in my opinion the losi promoto mx is just as or more durable than $14,000 dirt bike . If you look at how high and far people are jumping them , to scale its crazy durable. 🤪 ... I totally agree about the battery plug it makes me cringe when i am pulling on the wires to get it out . As far as the rear shock that is called sag . And every real dirt bike has it and needs it . Maybe gen 2 will have sag adjustment ... the brake issue is because of the plastic piston screw that pushes on the disc pads , has a lot of imperfections in the casting. Causing it to stick inside the caliper. I took mine out and sanded it with 1000 grit wet . Then polished it with my dremal . I sent VITAVON pictures of the issue. And asked them to make a all aluminum caliper. About 3 weeks ago . They wrote me back a week later showing me a picture of the progress. Looks great . They wrote me day before yesterday and told me too look for it next week in their ebay store . I cant wait to get it . Check out VITAVON for all their upgrades. They use 7075-T6 instead of 6061-T6 aluminum. Which is almost 2 times stronger. Much respect sir, love your content. Stay cool 😎
You need to change the springs and shock oil to run it on bumpy terrain. I run mine on a bumpy gravel pit. The stock spring setup was too stiff and the rebound was too fast. If you set it up for bumpy terrain you can't really jump it as it will bottom out. The springs are in stock at Amain Hobbies.
People here still waiting too I lucked out a local hobby shop got some I said hold it I am on my way lol even here parts and bikes are still backordered they are slowly rolling out
Jumping nearly everyone jumps it like a Xmax, ….. a jump is so much better wen it’s has a down ramp to land smooth on ,……. Bashes automatically make ther shocks obsolete by chassis slap,,, shocks bottom out every time,,
Not to be rude but, braking just like riding real dirt bike helps . Yes ive ridin bikes since i was ten , now at 50 and owning this losi bike . It helps.
Yes very lucky every known rc website is still showing either pre order or backordered it seems Losi sent the first batches to local hobby stores I saw a RUclips video a guy was at a hobbytown checking one out so I said hmm let me check and online it said they have them I called they held it and I am lucky to have had it now if something breaks that would be bad everything I looked up to have on hand for the what if because you know I dont worry about it not like I have a bunch of parts right lol yeah everything is backordered I still have a wheelset on backorder because the tires will wear out there are a few other pieces I should get but hmmmmm
The front brake will stick landing on rocks same as you pushing it up causing you to crash as brakes locked up that how I found the issue of the front brake and the cause inside
I have been watching it so far it hasn't gotten stuck I plan on doing that mod you did cleaning it up to be safe I haven't been very aggressive with it because of the parts shortage I have been easy on it. So far either been on the street or soft dirt.
Its not as easy with the bike you have to hold it straight to get it rolling the gyro is different it tries to hold it so you kind of fight it to move it no footage as Kevin would say lol

I wonder if it would help him to not keep tumbling forward end over end by changing the rotation on the fly wheel?

You have lazy thinking ? Not being nasty to you ,use your foot to pickup , tilt the bike with your foot king .
