- The book of Romans is the apostle Paul's letter to the church in Rome, and it focuses on God's plan of salvation for all humankind. Romans is the most systematic of Paul's letters, reading more like an elaborate theological essay rather than a letter. On this flight, we look at Paul's strong emphasis on Christian doctrine as well as his concern for Israel.

Skip Heitzig is an anointed teacher, and the gospel is the POWER of God unto salvation, Jesus went about doing good and healing ALL who were oppressed by the devil, and Jesus Christ is the same yesterday today and forever He still heals today - just read your bible

I was raised a catholic too much older than you Skip. Always catechism never the Bible an actual Bible and I would ask the nuns how come we can't read the Bible on our own same dumb answer was cause it was too complicated and we would not understand if not broken down into catechism lessons. After 12 yrs of catholic school and being a catholic all those years at 64 yrs old I got saved. A case of very bad pneumonia at age 64 kept me in bed for almost two months with my first Bible I read it cover to cover and I remember saying to God.
"God I know what you're doing here keeping me sick and weak in this bed and I get it. This Book this Bible is your Son the Word my salvation is in Him. When I finally finished reading the Bible I coincidentally got better that first weekend in February 2007 I was baptized and gave my life to Him. In August of 2009 I recommited myself to Him. Outwardly it looks like I should be so sad. I am old alone and struggling
But I have never been happier than I am right now I have a relationship with Jesus and the Father through Jesus. I can feel the Holy Spirit working in me cause whenever anything good or interesting comes out of my mouth I am just as surprised and impressed as the next guy cause it didn't come from me and I will always say that was the Holy Spirit not me. I love my life more than when I was young and healthy and had all my loved ones close by
Because the love of my life ( Jesus) and I spend our days together

This is a great teaching. I hope and with the help God I can go through the Bible with pastor Skip in the year 2021. I am terribly failed according to the message of the book of the Romans. May God help me to renew and revive my faith in the year 2021 and may God help America to renew the faith in Jesus. Amen.

this is a very good overview of romans except that Skip skips an important answers to the questions of sins... In Baptism a believer pictures of death and resurrection to a new life. The following was highlighted: Faith, Righteousness, Justification, propitiation, confessor faith, etc. except baptism. Thanks for encouraging us to always check the scriptures for whatever we say we believe.
Besides digging into baptism what else is he skipping?

Men like Kanye and Bob , like me , because of the stumbling blocks in life with and without Christ ,in those moments of being alone , although never , The Trinity are at work on us ! Being made in GOD'S IMAGE , we have everything God has , good and evil , only God has the true knowledge, understanding and wisdom to use such power of good and evil , that through HIS GRACE thru HIS WORD CHRIST filled with the HOLY SPIRIT is guiding us Home ! I just found this channel and I am thrilled to hear these teachings, I have never heard Bible study this well. I am married to a woman from the Philippines who is a member of a pentecostal church there and here in the states. I was raised in a Church of God myself. The doctrine and practices of her church are so out of line with the Bible as to be very depressing. I wish I lived near this Calvary church. Maybe I should consider visiting or better yet moving.
Until then, keep watching these videos. I also have been learning so much from these videos. We are very lucky to have the ability to see them even if we live far away. I also wish I was near to this church. We moved awhile ago & are still looking for a good bible teaching church.
Some pastors are just better teachers & Skip is blessed with a fantastic ability to teach & make every bit of the Bible interesting and understandable. I’m going book by book along side him to gain knowledge and understanding that I may have missed. I believe it’s OK to extend our “church time” & use videos & such to get a better understanding. Like you, I found this channel “by accident” although I now believe God was calling me to really increase my knowledge about what I believe.

NB : Even if God YHWH wants to judge a nation, He will spare the righteous. Therefore, it is not wise for many so called prophets to pronounce the destruction of any city unless they are very very certain.

Romans 14 never mentions the sabbath. It does mention food,eating and not eating, days. So, could it be fasting or not fasting, on certain days, given the context???

exactly ! Paul also the same exact scenario? Christ 42 gen of Judah & Levi/ Paul 42 gen of Benjamin & ? The similarities ! But 3years in Arabia to restudy ,what he knew by heart ?! To Mount Sinai , of course , who is Arabia , but Edom/ Esau brother to Jacob/ Israel , to bring the Gospel to Jacobs brother Esau , what Glory , from the East all the way to the West, Paul spread the Word of God ! The church ain't going anywhere before Revelation 14. So saints of God put on your armor and get ready for the battle ahead. Also in Exodus God told us what we should eat and what not to eat. So Paul was referring to the sacrificial meat that others were sacrificing to idols. He was saying if you were strong in your faith and knowing that it can't hurt you because you know who you are in Christ you can still buy from those people and eat it because you know it just meat. But for those who are weak in the faith will see it as an offense and will cause them hurt because they would think that they are going something wrong therefore they would sin.
I hope this make some sense to someone. He said, I'm (paraphrasing here) if you eating and your doubting what you eat it's also a sin. So it's better not to eat it. That's the animals that's the sacrificial animals that were offered to idols I'm referring to. He said for such a one make they eat vegetables. Note pigs was not used for any sacrifice. So he Paul was not saying it's ok to eat unclean meat.

Hello Vivek! While Pastor Skip will use various translations from time to time. He mostly uses the New King James Version (NKJV).

It is also the culmination of his invention of a man god in pagan fashion. No difference between Paul's man god and the man god that is the result of Zeus and his human Semele that produced a man god son. All pagan and the gullible today still believe in a pagan man god that never was.
God is faithful and there is hope! Christ died for you while you were still in sin. Repent and be baptized and put yourself aside, look to Jesus and He will amaze you! We were all in sin and deserving of judgement, but God loves us so much that He sent His only Son, His perfect Son, to take our place, love us, teach us, be mistreated by us, and then He gave up His life, even for the ones who persecuted Him. God loves you so much. You do not need to reject Him! He waits for us with open arms and will welcome us warmly, all of Heaven rejoices over one sinner who repents! I love you! May God open your eyes and keep you in faith!

Well, we all know now that Ye knew the words, but didn't really know Christ. His more recent statement that he is God as a culmination of his personal growth is blasphemy. Along with mentions of other religions as acceptable. He no longer shows any fruit, only self serving and abased actions. His seed fell on the shallow ground.
