It's not just the welding, that's a small part. It's your craftsmanship and vision of all the little details that make your videos great to watch. Thanks Allen for sharing!
Exhaust stack coming out lower on the barrel will help the rig to hold heat better. heat rises and travels straight to that pipe. lower that sucker to rack level, heat has to go across the meat before it escapes.
MattheusGO I agree, people want them at the top though most of the time. you're right tho, putting it in the middle does work better, I think I have some videos up where I did just that
Hallo Allen, ich mag deine Videos, deine Arbeiten aber vor allem wie du mit dem Schneidbrenner umgehst ..... ... hi Allen, i love youer Videos, also your Smokers and Firepits, but the best is how you work with the torchm it´s amazing man. Best wishes, gerd from a little town in germany ...
Have you ever thought of placing the bottom air flow vents on the back of the grill especially when the client requests a table on the front of the grill or would that not work functionally? Love the videos man. God bless you and your family with prosperity and health.
mresmith4302 it would probably work the same, I just put them on the front because a lot of times people have their pits against a fence, porch, etc. and the back wouldn't be accessible.
Bo Haggin thanks! welding and fab work, I'm actually just doing my own stuff right now for the past couple weeks but I'll be going back to a fab shop soon most likely
Hey there you make some really nice grills. I'm trying to make my first 55 gallon bbq cooker. But i would like yo know what is your measurements for the stands at angel iron
good morning allen. you work very well. You are facilitating an amazing job. I have a workshop in Brazil in the state of Paraiba. I'm a mechanic here and make some barbecues. I will buy a mig weld. to improve services🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
If you cut the lid in front bottom below the food rack so when u raise lid their is a space open to add- move-coals to adjust heat without having to slide rack out. So much easier - been doing for 40 years. Always bolt together everything to prevent rusting using long bolt spacers to keep fire heat away from table of treated wood bolted together with front table at bottom of barrel so to leave space under fire rack being part of lid open under rack to adjust -add coals. NO welding!!! 40 year old pits still around. I charge as much as 300$ just for labor + fabric. NO RUST !!!
I like your work mainly because it seems like you enjoy doing it ! I have a 250 gallon propane tank I would like turned into a reverse flow smoker. Do you have a website or something that provides prices of your smokers or labor ?
I can't remember where and what its called. The metal (flat bar)roll you use for the door seals. I wanna say its $13bucks you said. Don't quote me on that.
It's not just the welding, that's a small part. It's your craftsmanship and vision of all the little details that make your videos great to watch. Thanks Allen for sharing!

MattheusGO I agree, people want them at the top though most of the time. you're right tho, putting it in the middle does work better, I think I have some videos up where I did just that
